Redmi recently launched a budget smartwatch with ENC calling in India. Now, the brand just released another affordable offering — this time it’s earbuds with active noise cancellation. In this article, we will discuss the Redmi Buds 6 Lite in further detail and try to determine its price in Nepal.
Redmi Buds 6 Lite Overview
Design and Audio
The Redmi Buds 6 Lite comes in an in-ear fit and glossy finish. The buds are largely the same shade apart from a long streak that goes through the stem. They are also IP54-rated and fare decently well against water and dust exposure. Meanwhile, its charging case is pebble-shaped and has a soft pulse light as an indicator. The whole package is available in Black, White, and Blue colour.
These earbuds pack a 12.40 mm dynamic driver on each side to deliver the audio. They are coated with titanium to preserve the sound quality. In addition to the larger drivers, the Redmi Buds 6 Lite offers a good listening experience to its users with a Hybrid ANC of up to 40 decibels. Similarly, they are equipped with a dual-mic setup on each side as well as an AI algorithm for suppressing ambient, and wind noise of up to 6m/s to ensure clear voice during phone calls.

Features and Battery
The Redmi Buds 6 Lite comes with Bluetooth v5.3 for wireless connectivity with your smartphone. It also offers a fast pairing feature, but only for Android devices. Moreover, you can access additional functionalities and customisation through the earbuds’ companion app — Xiaomi Earbuds. In the app, the user can toggle between various modes of noise cancellation and switch between four preset EQs as well as tailor one as per their preference.
Talking of the battery, these buds pack a 45mAh battery each and the charging has a 480mAh cell inside it. With this combination, the Redmi Buds 6 Lite can last up to 38 hours. This number is achieved when the buds are used with AAC codec, volume is set at 50%, and other functions are on default. Similarly, under the same conditions, the earpieces independently offer 7 hours of playtime. In the meantime, charging this Redmi audio accessory for a quick 10 minutes translates to two hours of usage.
