Xiaomi has been well know to offer specs-heavy smartphones in an affordable price bracket. Similar is the case for the sub-brand Redmi. As such, Redmi Note 13 4G is the company's budget offering for the year 2024.

Design and Display

The Redmi Note 13 4G has a somewhat similar design to the Note 13 Pro 4G sibling. Given It has a flat design and a smooth glossy finish on the back. This phone is only 7.6mm thick and weighs about 173.5 grams. On the front, we are getting a 6.67-inch AMOLED panel with the Redmi Note 13 4G. It boasts a resolution of 1,080 x 2,400 pixels, a peak brightness of 1800 nits, and a 100% DCI-P3 colour gamut. Meanwhile, it has a refresh rate of 120Hz.

Performance

Under the hood, it comes with the Snapdragon 685 chipset (6nm). It is an octa-core processor with a peak clock speed of up to 2.8GHz. The Redmi Note 13 4G comes in two configurations i.e. 6GB + 128GB, and 8GB + 256GB. It also supports up to 8GB of virtual memory expansion. Lastly, it comes with MIUI 14 out of the box, however, it is eligible to receive the HyperOS update.

Camera and the rest

In terms of optics, the Redmi Note 13 5G comes with a dual-camera setup on the back. The primary camera is a 108MP lens coupled with an 8MP ultrawide and a 2MP macro sensor. Similarly, on the front, we are getting a 16MP shooter for the selfies. Powering the phone is a 5,000 mAh battery that accepts 33W of fast charging. Furthermore, it is a dual-SIM 4G phone that also comes with dual-band WiFi and Bluetooth v5.31 support. In terms of the wired connection, it comes with USB Type-C and a 3.5mm headphone jack.
