Xiaomi has been well know to offer specs-heavy smartphones in an affordable price bracket. Similar is the case for the sub-brand Redmi. As such, Redmi Note 14 5G is the company’s midrange offering for the year 2024.

Design and Display
The Redmi Note 14 5G features a curved back panel with a larger camera cutout. Moreover, the camera island has a bit softer edge. The phone offers an IP64 rating, a reinforced internal design, and a Corning Gorilla Glass 5 for protection.
On the front, we are getting a 6.67-inch OLED panel with FHD+ resolution. It boasts a peak brig refers rate of up to 120Hz and a peak brightness of 1800 nits. Furthermore, the display is capable of HDR10+ and a 100% DCI-P3 color gamut.
Performance
Under the hood, it comes with MediaTek Dimensity 7025 Ultra. It is an octa-core processor with a peak clock speed of up to 2.5GHz. The Redmi Note 14 5G comes in two configurations i.e. 8GB+256GB and 12+512GB. Moving on to the battery, it packs a 5,110 mAh cell with 45W charging support. On top of that, this smartphone features Xiamomi HyperOS.
Camera and the rest
In terms of optics, the primary camera of the Redmi Note 14 5G is a 108MP OIS-enabled lens. Additionally, it features an 8MP UW camera, a 2MP auxiliary lens helping out with macro photography, and a 20MP selfie camera.
For connectivity, the Redmi 14 5G provides you a dual-SIM support with 5G cellular, dual-band Wifi 5, and Bluetooth v5.3 for wireless medium. Other than that, you will get a USB Type-C port and a 3.5mm headphone jack. Not only this, you will find an in-display fingerprint sensor for added security. As per the company, the phone features ”Heart rate detection” but is not very clear/specific about this feature.
