Samsung Galaxy A57 5G

Samsung is one of the most popular smartphone brands in the world, with a wide selection of offerings. The company has introduced its Galaxy A57, an updated midrange device that offers several enhancements compared to the Galaxy A56.

Design and Display

This time, the Samsung A57 5G has a thinner, lighter build, weighing around 179 grams, compared to the A56. It comes with an IP68 rating for dust and water.  The camera rings are inspired by those seen on the Galaxy S25 Ultra and Z Fold 6. Additionally, the A57 boasts a 6.7-inch AMOLED display, identical to the A56. It also offers an impressive peak brightness of 1,900 nits, while maintaining the 120Hz refresh rate for smoother scrolling and gaming.

Performance and the rest

The Galaxy A57 features the Exynos 1680 chipset, which delivers 16% better efficiency and a 16% faster GPU than the Exynos 1580 in the A56. Like the Galaxy A37, the A57 comes with Android 16 paired with One UI 8.5. Samsung promises up to 6 years of OS updates for the A56. R. It also includes AI-driven writing tools for better text suggestions, advanced camera options, and a Knox Matrix dashboard for better security. Furthermore, the A57 supports up to 12GB of RAM and up to 256GB of storage.

Camera 

The rear camera setup includes a 50MP primary sensor with Optical Image Stabilization (OIS), a 5MP macro lens, and a 12MP ultrawide camera. The front camera has a 32MP sensor, enabling HDR and 4K video recording. 

Battery and Other

The A57 maintains the same 5,000mAh battery capacity as the A56. It supports faster 45W charging. The under-display optical fingerprint sensor is also retained.
