      Samsung Galaxy M55 5G Overview

The Samsung Galaxy M55 5G comes in a similar design to any other Galaxy phone. It has vertically aligned camera cutouts on a monotone finish on the back. It has curved frames, and ships in two colour options Light Green and Denim Black.

In the meantime, the front has a 6.67-inch display with a Super AMOLED Plus panel. The screen spans FHD+ in resolution while offering a 120Hz refresh rate. Additionally, you also get 1,000 nits of peak brightness on the Samsung Galaxy M55 5G, giving you a comfortable viewing experience out in the sunlight as well.

      Performance and the rest

The Samsung Galaxy M55 has sidelined the company's in-house Exynos 1380 chipset under its hood from the previous generation. This time around the company has opted with a Qualcomm Snapdragon 7 Gen 1 processor instead. This processor offers you 4nm fabrication, three different sizes of cores, and a peak clock speed of 2.4 GHz. On top of that, it packs 8GB or 12GB RAM coupled with two different options of storage at 128GB and double that i.e. 256GB. You get the full Samsung experience with OneUI 6.1 on top of Android 14.

In the optics department, the company has dropped the resolution of the main camera down to 50MP. This shooter is capable of optical image stabilisation. In the meantime, the auxiliary lenses include an 8MP ultrawide camera and another 2MP macro lens. On the front, the Samsung Galaxy M55 5G houses another 50MP camera that doubles down as the face scanner. For further security, you get a fingerprint sensor under the screen. it packs a 5,000 mAh battery that supports 45W of fast charging.
