SIMGOT EG280 Overview
Design and Build
Starting with the design, the SIMGOT EG280 comes with a semi-transparent smoke-colored resin shell with a metal faceplate, giving it a clean and premium look. It also comes with multiple silicone ear tips in different sizes, along with foam tips, so you can choose the fit that works best for you.
Audio
Talking about audio, the SIMGOT EG280 comes with a 10mm dynamic driver for the lows and mids, paired with a 6mm planar driver for the treble. In terms of sound, it comes with a bright and crisp tuning with decent detail and separation. This IEM also comes with a spacious soundstage and precise imaging, which makes it a good fit for gaming where positioning and footsteps matter.
Cable and Controls
For the cable, we get a 1.7m detachable OFC cable, which is longer than most IEM cables we get around this price. It uses a standard 0.78mm 2-pin connector and comes with a USB-C DAC/amp. The DAC also works with the SIMGOT Control app, letting us customize the EQ for different games.
