      Simgot EW300 Overview

      Design and Build

The Simgot EW300 uses an all-metal shell made from high-density alloy through CNC machining, giving the IEM a solid construction while keeping the design relatively lightweight. Its over-ear shape is based on 3D ear-contour analysis, with an ergonomic fit designed to sit securely in the ear and reduce cable-related stethoscope effects. The shell also features a mirror-plated finish that gives it a polished appearance.

Additionally, the EW300 comes with a detachable 0.78mm 2-pin silver-plated OFC cable, which uses a multi-strand construction and transparent PVC coating. The cable can be replaced or upgraded when needed, while the IEMs also feature threaded, interchangeable nozzles that allow users to switch between two tuning options.

      Audio

In terms of audio, the Simgot EW300 uses a tribrid driver configuration consisting of a 10mm dynamic driver, a 6mm annular planar magnetic driver, and a piezoelectric ceramic driver per side. It has a rated frequency response of 8Hz to 40kHz, with an effective response of 20Hz to 20kHz, while the impedance is rated at 28Ω ±15% at 1kHz. Sensitivity varies depending on the installed tuning nozzle, rated at 121dB/Vrms with the silver steel nozzle and 119dB/Vrms with the golden copper nozzle. The interchangeable nozzles allow users to switch between two different tuning profiles, giving the EW300 some flexibility in its overall sound presentation.

      Connectivity and Controls

On the connectivity side, the Simgot EW300 uses a detachable 0.78mm 2-pin cable and is available with different termination options depending on the variant. The standard and HBB versions come with a 3.5mm single-ended plug, while the DSP version uses a USB-C connector with an integrated DAC and DSP. As a wired IEM, it does not require Bluetooth pairing or a battery.

For controls, the DSP version features a single multi-function button on the USB-C cable. A single press can play or pause music, while a double press skips to the next track, and the button can also be used for call controls. It does not have dedicated volume buttons, so volume adjustments need to be made directly from the connected device. The DSP cable also includes a built-in microphone for calls and voice input.
