TRUTHEAR Red Overview

Design and Build

Starting with the design, the TRUTHEAR Red features a compact, ergonomic in-ear design with a medical-grade, high-transparency resin shell utilizing an internal coloring process and an optimized sandwich-like faceplate structure. The IEM housing is crafted using advanced DLP 3D printing technology with a smooth, glossy finish and an ergonomic shape designed for secure comfort. It also comes with a recessed 0.78mm 2-pin connector and an acoustic nozzle with an integrated filtering function.

Audio

For Audio, the TRUTHEAR Red uses a hybrid dual-dynamic driver configuration featuring a 10mm dynamic driver for bass and a 7.8mm dynamic driver for mids and treble. The dynamic drivers utilize a polyurethane suspension composite liquid-crystal dome diaphragm and N52 neodymium magnets, combined with an accurately calculated RC frequency division. The IEM delivers a warm, natural, and low-fatigue sound signature with punchy bass, a clean midrange, and bright yet smooth treble.

Cable and Controls

The earphones come with a detachable 0.78mm 2-pin silver-plated copper cable with a thicker single-strand diameter. It features a standard 3.5mm plug and a four-strand braided design that is sturdy, flexible, and resistant to tangling, alongside an included 10Ω impedance adapter for custom tuning.
