Vivo X200 Pro

4.9Expert Score

Vivo X200 Pro is the company’s latest flagship phone to hit the global market. And as always, there’s a major emphasis on cameras here. It has a 50MP main, a 50MP ultrawide, and a 32MP selfie camera, but the biggest highlight of the Vivo X200 Pro is definitely its 200MP periscope telephoto lens. That thing is excellent for portraits and street photography. The X200 Pro is also a proper performance champ thanks to the Dimensity 9400 chip, whereas it also has a durable design, a fantastic 120Hz AMOLED display, and a huge 6000 mAh battery.

Vivo X200 Pro Overview

Design and Display

The Vivo X200 Pro is a proper flagship phone so as you’d expect, Vivo hasn’t compromised at all in terms of anything here. You get a solid glass sandwich build with aluminum frames, while this thing is both IP68 and IP69 dust/water resistant as well. In the international market, the X200 Pro is available in either “Titanium Gray” or “Cosmos Black” color options.

Vivo X200 Pro Design

As for the display, you’re looking at a 6.78″ AMOLED panel with a 120Hz refresh rate and up to 4500 nits of peak brightness. This is a BOE-made panel, which also has an impressive 0.1 – 120Hz variable refresh rate technology. On top of all this, the Vivo X200 Pro’s display has HDR10+ and Dolby Vision certification too.

Performance and Storage

The Vivo X200 Pro is powered by the Dimensity 9400 chip, which makes it among the few flagship phones that ships with a MediaTek processor instead of one made by Qualcomm. This has been coupled with a whopping 16GB of LPDDR5X RAM and 512GB of UFS 4.0 storage.

It boots on Funtouch OS 15 (Android 15) on global models, while the Chinese variant tastes OriginOS 15 instead. Vivo has also promised 4 years of OS and 5 years of security updates for the X200 series.

Camera and Battery

And in case you didn’t know, the biggest highlight of the Vivo X200 Pro is definitely its cameras. Which has been headlined by a monstrous 200MP periscope telephoto lens capable of 3.7x optical zoom (85mm equivalent). It is followed by a 50MP Sony LYT-818 main sensor, a 50MP ultrawide sensor, and a 32MP selfie camera.

That telephoto lens has also received “Zeiss APO” certification for excellent chromatic and spherical aberration correction, while Vivo X200 Pro’s lenses also have Zeiss T* coating. And on our tests, we were thoroughly impressed by the X200 Pro’s cameras, especially in terms of portraits. Whereas it can also shoot great videos, including at up to 4K 120 fps. Just like the iPhone 16 Pro Max.

Vivo has also managed to fit in a massive 6000 mAh battery here, thanks to the third-gen silicon anode tech. All that without making the phone too heavy or too thick. It supports 90W wired and 30W wireless charging.
