The Vivo X500 Pro Max is a proper flagship phone, so as you'd expect, Vivo hasn't compromised at all in terms of anything here. You get a solid glass sandwich build with aluminum frames, while this thing is both IP68 and IP69 dust/water resistant as well. In the international market, the X500 Pro Max is available in color options like Black, Gray, White, and Orange. 

As for the display, you're looking at a larger 6.85" BOE-made LTPO AMOLED panel with a 2K resolution (1440 x 3168 pixels) and an adaptive 1–144Hz refresh rate. On top of all this, the Vivo X500 Pro Max's display features HDR10+ and Dolby Vision certification too, along with a peak brightness reaching up to 4,400 nits.

Performance and Storage

Under the hood, the Vivo X500 Pro Max gets the new 2nm MediaTek Dimensity 9600 Pro chip with some serious power. This has been coupled with a whopping up to 16GB of LPDDR5X Ultra RAM and up to 1TB of UFS 4.1 storage. It boots on OriginOS 7 based on Android 17 on global models. Vivo has also promised up to 5 major OS updates for the X500 series.

Leading the pack is a powerful 200 MP periscope telephoto lens capable of delivering up to 3.5x optical zoom for detailed portraits and distant shots. It’s accompanied by a flagship-grade 50 MP main sensor with 3° gimbal-grade OIS and a versatile 50 MP ultra-wide lens, ensuring excellent results in any lighting condition. On the front, the X500 Pro Max houses a high-resolution 50MP selfie camera, perfect for capturing sharp, natural-looking portraits.

The telephoto camera on the Vivo X500 Pro Max carries Zeiss APO certification, ensuring outstanding correction for chromatic and spherical aberrations. Additionally, all of the X500 Pro Max’s lenses feature the signature Zeiss T* coating, which enhances light transmission and minimizes reflections for clearer, more vibrant images. It is also supported by CIPA 7.0-level stabilization and advanced processing for better long-range motion capture. In testing, the X500 Pro Max’s camera system delivered exceptional results, particularly when it came to portrait photography.

Powering it all is a massive 8,000 mAh silicon-carbon battery, which allows for incredible endurance without adding excessive bulk. The phone also supports 90W wired and 40W wireless charging, making it both powerful and practical.
