The company hasn’t launched its online Z-series and U-series in Nepal yet. Vivo pricing strategy in Nepal is very similar to that of India because of its offline sales based strategy. 1. Vivo Y90

Vivo Y90 is an entry-level smartphone and also happens to be the least expensive Vivo smartphone to be available in Nepal. The phone packs a 6.22-inch display with a trendy water-drop style notch on the top. Despite being an entry-level device, the packs quite a massive battery. There is a 4030mAh battery under the hood, which keeps the device running for a noteworthy period of time.

vivo y90 mobile price nepal

The Vivo Y90 is powered by a modest Helio A22 quad-core chipset with 2GB of RAM and 32GB of expandable storage. It is running on an older version of Android 8.1. Similarly, there’s a single 8MP on the back and a 5MP selfie shooter on the front.

Vivo Nepal claims that the Vivo Y90 is one of the highest-selling Vivo phones in Nepal. The phone comes with a gorgeous looking design for the price, and offline buyers like them at first glance.

Vivo Y90 Specifications & Price:

  • Display: 6.22-inch IPS HD+ display
  • Chipset: MediaTek Helio A22,
  • OS: Android 8.1 (Oreo) with FunTouch OS 4.5
  • RAM: 2GB
  • Storage: 32GB; expandable via a dedicated slot
  • Rear Camera: 8MP
  • Front Camera: 5MP
  • Security: Face-unlock
  • Battery: 4030mAh
  • Price: Rs. 13,690 Rs. 14,490

2. Vivo Y91c 2020

The Vivo Y91c is the latest entry-level Y-series smartphone of 2020 launched during Vivo Nepal Sales Carnival. Like other latest Vivo phones, it has a Fullview 19:9 display and features a gradient design that looks pleasing in the eyes.

vivo y91c 2020 design display price nepal

It is powered by a MediaTek Helio P22 processor with 2GB of RAM and 32GB of storage. You get a 13MP back camera and a 5MP front camera, and both the cameras support portrait feature. On the battery front, you get the same 4030mAh battery. Considering an HD+ display and a 12nm power-efficient processor, you can expect a good battery life.

However, for the price below Rs. 15,000, there are plenty of better options in Nepal. For instance, the Redmi 8 offers better performance, the latest Android 10 version, an even bigger 5000mAh battery life, and 64GB of ample storage.

3. Vivo Y93

Vivo’s Y-series of smartphones share quite a lot of similarities. Most of them have a tall HD+ display and all of them flaunt a massive 4030mAh battery. And it’s the same in the of Vivo Y93 as well.

vivo y93 design display

But what’s really different on the Vivo Y93 is the presence of a Snapdragon chipset. The handset is powered by Snapdragon 439 chipset. You get 3GB RAM and 32GB of internal storage on the memory front. As for the cameras, there is a dual-camera setup at the back.

Like the Y91c 2020, the Vivo Y93 is brutally overpriced in Nepal. Just by adding few bucks, you can get the Redmi Note 8 that offers quad cameras, double storage, higher-res display, and way better performance than the Vivo Y93. In addition, it is also running on an outdated Android 8 version. Hence, buying the Vivo Y93 in 2020 makes very little sense.

Vivo Y93 Specifications & Price:

  • Display: 6.2-inch HD+ IPS LCD
  • Chipset: Qualcomm Snapdragon 439
  • OS: Android 8.1 (Oreo) with FunTouch OS 4.5

4. Vivo Y11 2019

It seems like Vivo worked out really well on its Y11. Y-series are generally expensive and don’t pack much value considering the price. But that has quite changed with the Vivo Y11 2019. It seems to pack the best value of all.

The most noteworthy feature on the device is its big battery. The phone packs a humongous 5000mAh battery. Given the massive battery and a low-res (HD+) 6.35-inch display, the battery is really enduring. It lasts for two days or more on normal use. However, the phone ships with a 10-watt charger, which takes quite a while to get the device fully charged.

vivo y11 2019 mobile price in nepal

As for the cameras, you get a dual-camera setup on the back. Talking about the selfies, you get an 8MP snapper on the front. As for the performance, the phone packs Snapdragon 439 chipset with 3GB of RAM alongside. You also get 32GB of onboard memory with a dedicated SD slot for storage expansion. Despite the MRP of Rs. 17,990, you can actually buy the Vivo Y11 for as little as Rs. 15,000 in the mobile market.

Vivo Y11 2019 Specifications & Price:

  • Display: 6.35-inches HD+ IPS LCD display
  • Chipset: Qualcomm Snapdragon 439
  • OS: Android 9.0 (Pie) with Funtouch OS 9.1
  • RAM: 3GB
  • Storage: 32GB; expandable via a dedicated slot
  • Rear Camera: Dual; 13M primary lens, 2MP depth sensor
  • Front Camera: 8MP
  • Security: Fingerprint scanner, Face-unlock
  • Battery: 5000 mAh battery, 10W Charging
  • Price: Rs. 18,590 Rs. 19,490 [Price increment]

5. Vivo Y12

Vivo Y12 is one of the recent entries to the Nepali smartphone market. It is a camera-centric smartphone with a triple rear module on its rear panel. The phone embraces a 13MP primary shooter backed by an 8MP ultra-wide-angle lens and a 2MP depth sensor. On the front resides an 8MP selfie snapper right inside the notch.

vivo y12 design display

In addition to cameras, another major highlight of the phone is its big battery. There is a 5000mAh battery to back you up for a prolonged period. However, a low-res HD+ display and a mediocre processor is a bummer at this price. Hence, you should skip this and get the Redmi Note 8 or the Galaxy M21 instead. Both these phone better value for money in Nepal than the Vivo Y12.

Vivo Y12 Specifications & Price

  • Display: 6.35″ HD+ IPS LCD display
  • Chipset: MediaTek Helio P22
  • OS: Android 9.0 (Pie) with Funtouch OS 9

  • Battery: 5000 mAh, 10W Charging
  • Price: Rs. 20,990 Rs. 21,590

6. Vivo Y15

The Vivo Y15 is a camera-centric device and the triple camera setup at its back readily cues that. Vivo Y15 is also the least expensive smartphone to have triple rear cameras. Apart from that, the phone flaunts a massive 5000mAh battery. With a sizable battery at its helm, the device promises two days of battery life on normal use.

vivo y15 design display front back

However, the phone comes with a 6.35-inch HD+ IPS display and a mediocre MediaTek Helio P22 chipset, which is quite a bummer for the price. So, should you get the Vivo Y15 in Nepal for Rs.24,190? Definitely No. I think there are better options out there. Check out our comprehensive article about the best phones under Rs. 25,000 in Nepal here.

On the back, the Vivo Y30 has four cameras, enclosed inside a rectangular module. A 13MP sensor leads the quad-camera setup. Similarly, users get an 8MP camera with a 120-degree Field of View. You can get as closer as 2cm of your subject with the 2MP macro lens. The fourth camera is a depth sensor.

Vivo Y30 features a massive 5,000mAh battery. Unfortunately, for the battery of such capacity, there is no support for fast charging capability. Interestingly, it supports 5W reverse charging. It runs on FunTouch OS 10 based on Android 10.  The device comes with iManager, Screen Time, and Jovi Events pre-installed.

Vivo Y30 Specifications & Price:

8. Vivo Y17

The Vivo Y17 is basically the bumped-up version of the Y15. Vivo has included a noteworthy 128GB of onboard memory here. The Helio P22 chipset on the Y15 has also been replaced by Helio P35 chipset. So the Y17 can handle more intensive workloads than the Y15.

Apart from that, you get the same camera triplets in the rear panel. The 13MP main camera here is complemented by an 8MP ultra-wide-angle lens and a 2MP depth sensor. The phone also features a tiny water-drop notch on the top of the display, which houses a 20MP selfie shooter. When it comes to power, the Vivo Y17 is nourished by a sizable 5000mAh battery. The phone houses a triple camera setup. So you can shoot the subject bringing in multiple perspectives. On the front, however, there is just a single selfie shooter, which rests on the tiny notch on the top of the display. The 16MP front camera also unlocks the handset via Face Unlock feature.

The battery is also another USP of the Vivo S1. The phone packs a massive 4500mAh battery. Given the size of the battery and the hardware it’s embraced, S1 can last for more than a day on normal use. 11. Vivo S1 Pro

Vivo S1 Pro is the successor of the Vivo S1. It is also the latest Vivo midrange phone to launch in Nepal. It offers quad-cameras, an improved 11nm based Snapdragon 665 chipset, and a new design. The quad-camera now comprises of 48MP primary lens, an 8MP ultra-wide lens, a 2MP depth sensor, and a new 2MP macro lens.

The battery size remains the same at 4500mAh, but Vivo has finally got rid of its old micro-USB port with a Type C. Similarly, you get a Super AMOLED display with an in-display fingerprint sensor just like the Vivo S1.

Despite decent looking features, the Vivo S1 Pro is kind of a mixed bag because of its mediocre cameras and exorbitant pricing. For the asking price of Rs. 36,790 in Nepal, there are plenty of better options out there like the Galaxy A50s, Redmi Note 8 Pro, and Realme X2.

Vivo S1 Pro Specifications & Price:

  • Display: 6.38-inch Full HD+ Super AMOLED
  • Chipset: Snapdragon 665
  • OS: Android 9.0 (Pie) with Funtouch OS 9.2

12. Vivo V15

The Vivo V15 is the successor of the Vivo V11. The Vivo V11 had a tiny notch in the display, but the new V15 goes bezel-less with a pop-up camera. However, unlike the more expensive V15 Pro, there’s no in-display fingerprint scanner.

In addition, the Vivo V15 is powered by the Mediatek Helio P70 chipset, paired with 6GB of RAM and 128GB of storage. You get a 4000mAh battery with 18W fast charging, albeit done via a micro-USB port.

The Vivo V15 was launched for some Rs. 45,190. However, you can pick one in Nepal for a bargain price of Rs. 41,990. And since Vivo usually provides around 5-7% discount, it should be available for less than Rs. 40,000. That being said, in 2020, the Vivo V15 seems overpriced in Nepal and you can get a better price to performance phones like the Redmi K20 and Realme X2.

Vivo V15 Specifications & Price:

  • Display: 6.53-inch Full HD+ IPS LCD
  • Chipset: MediaTek Helio P70
  • RAM: 6GB
  • Storage: 128GB; expandable via a dedicated slot

13. Vivo V15 Pro

The Vivo V15 Pro is the successor of the V11 Pro and features a truly bezel-less display. There’s no notch or cutouts on the front and instead features a pop-up camera. It’s also Vivo’s first V-series to feature a triple rear camera setup. The in-display fingerprint sensor is also improved and is now almost twice as fast as the V11 Pro.

The V15 Pro also comes with a Snapdragon 675 chipset, which is a decent upgrade over the Snapdragon 660 of the V15 Pro. Similarly, the V15 Pro comes with 6GB of DDR4 RAM and 128GB of base storage.

The Vivo V15 Pro still costs over Rs. 50,000 in Nepal. We really hope Vivo drops its price now by some 20-30% to make it competitive in the market. But as things stand, you would be better off with the Vivo V17 Pro instead.

Vivo V15 Pro Specifications & Price:

  • Display: 6.39-inch Full-HD+ Super AMOLED
  • Chipset: Qualcomm Snapdragon 675
  • OS: Android 9 (Pie) with FunTouch OS 9

14. Vivo V17 Pro

When Vivo launched the V15 Pro, it was one of the compelling mid-rangers. And improving the cameras, Vivo has taken the premium midrange smartphones in the new heights with Vivo V17 Pro.

The phone packs four cameras on the back this time around. We had already seen a 48MP camera, 8MP ultra-wide-angle lens, and a 2MP depth on the V15 Pro. But in the V17 Pro, Vivo has added an additional lens. Here, you can get a 13MP telephoto lens as well, which lets you perform optical zooming up to 2x.

vivo v17 pro back design

Even on the front, there is an extra camera. In the pop-up style camera module, you can find a 32MP main selfies shooter backed by an 8MP ultra-wide-angle lens. So now you can accommodate more people your selfies. Furthermore, you will get a bigger battery and more RAM than the V15 Pro. But what’s really disappointing here is there is Snapdragon 675 chipset, which you can even find in the smartphone with half the price.

Vivo V17 Pro Specifications & Price:

  • Display: 6.44-inch Full HD+ 20:9 Super AMOLED
  • Chipset: Qualcomm Snapdragon 675

15. Vivo V19

Launched shortly after the COVID 19 lockdown, the Vivo V19 is the latest V-series of 2020. Priced just under Rs. 50,000, the Vivo V19 comes with almost a 2-year-old Snapdragon 712 chipset which doesn’t justify the price at all. However, other specifications are quite good. It has a bright 6.4-inch Super AMOLED panel with 1200nits of maximum brightness.

vivo v19 global variant price specs features

Similarly, the primary 48MP camera can capture good shots. There’s also a fast and reliable in-display fingerprint scanner. The design of the phone is also quite good. Powering the phone is a decent 4500mAh battery with superfast 33W charging. However, the asking price of Vivo V19 is a little high considering its specs.

  • Display: 6.44″ Full HD+ Super AMOLED

  • OS: Android 10 with Funtouch OS 10
