Design and Display

Starting off with the design, the minimalistic design of Y11d looks pretty decent for a budget phone. You’re getting a composite plastic back that comes in Sunrise Gold and Voyage Black colors. For its weight, it weighs around 209 grams and is 8.39mm thick, which is pretty hefty because of all the protection they’ve crammed in.

Moving on with the display, the 6.74-inch LCD display has a 120Hz refresh rate and can hit 1200 nits peak brightness in HBM. The resolution is 1600×720, which gives you 260 PPI.

Performance and Battery

The Y11d runs on the T7225 processor, which is basically a rebranded Unisoc T612. This chip typically scores around 250,000-270,000 in AnTuTu.

Furthermore, this chip is paired with 4/6 GB LPDDR4X RAM and 128GB eMMC 5.1 storage, which can be expanded up to 2TB. The phone also features a massive 6500mAh battery with 44W fast charging.

Camera and the rest

The camera setup here is a 50MP main shooter with f/1.8 aperture and a 0.08MP depth sensor. The front camera is 5MP.

The device features an IP65 rating, which looks interesting on this device, as they seem to have given in for other counterparts. The triple-layer water-resistant structure and foam sealing adhesive make what Vivo calls Y11d an “anti-drop phone.” According to Vivo, they’ve done extensive testing with “42,000 drop tests and 10,000 USB port insertions.” Another thing to look out for is the Guardian Glass protection. They claim it offers over 100% puncture resistance against sharp objects and better drop resistance on rough surfaces.
