      Vivo Y31d price in Nepal

The Vivo Y31d went official in Nepal a few months ago. And despite its large 7,200 mAh battery, this midrange phone had hardly anything going for it. Including a single 50MP rear camera and a relatively underpowered Snapdragon 6s 4G Gen 2 chip. But guess what? Vivo Nepal just raised its price by roughly 33%! So let’s dive into this article, where I will discuss everything about the latest Vivo Y31d, including its latest official price in Nepal, specifications, and availability.

      Vivo Y31d Overview

      Display and Design

The Y31d comes with a 6.75-inch LCD panel with HD+ resolution (720×1,570). It's a 120Hz panel that reaches up to 1,250 nits of peak brightness. Meanwhile, the display is also TÜV Rheinland Blue Light Reduction certified.

On the design side, the phone measures 166.6 ×78.4 × 8.39 mm and weighs 219g. The Glow White variant is slightly thicker at 8.49mm. Its build quality includes a plastic composite body with a metal camera island. It is also IP69+ rated. Among other stuff, its touchscreen works with wet hands too, whereas it's available in Glow White and Starlight Gray colors.

      Battery and Charging

The Y31d packs a 7,200mAh BlueVolt battery. Vivo claims you can get over 13 hours of MOBA gaming, over 14 hours of navigation, or around 45 hours (about 2 days) of video playback on a full charge. For charging, you get 44W FlashCharge, which can go from 1% to 50% in 43 minutes. There's also Bypass Charging, and the phone supports reverse charging at up to 6W as well.

      Performance and Software

The Y31d runs on the Snapdragon 6s 4G Gen 2 chipset. Yes, this is a 4G-only phone with no 5G support. You get either 6GB or 8GB of LPDDR4X RAM and 128GB or 256GB of UFS 2.2 storage. Similarly, the phone ships with Android 16 and OriginOS 6. Vivo, like most smartphone companies, has also included lots of AI features, such as the Smart AI Link for network optimization and AI Creative features for note rewriting, summarizing, and expanding. There's also AI Audio Recording and Text Conversion.

      Camera

On the back, there's a 50MP main sensor with f/2.0 aperture and a 2MP secondary lens for bokeh. For selfies, you get an 8MP front camera with f/2.0 aperture.  Other than that, the Connectivity options include the regular suite of dual nano-SIM slots (4G-only), dual-band Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 5.1, and so on.

Should you buy the Vivo Y31d in Nepal?

The Vivo Y31d's main USP is the massive 7200 mAh battery, which should easily last two days without a hiccup on moderate usage. The 6nm fabbed Snapdragon 6s 4G Gen 2 chip should handle everyday tasks like browsing, social media, and light gaming well, but an AMOLED panel would have been a lot better for the price. Not to mention, there are phones with much better performance and also much better cameras in this segment, making it an extremely tough sell.
