The RedMagic 11 Pro is indeed a handheld gaming rig disguised as a smartphone — Nubia’s flexing again with a huge 6.85-inch AMOLED display, the new Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5, active cooling, shoulder triggers, and that insanely fast touch response. It looks bold, runs cool, and carries an 8,000 mAh battery, while the cameras are well, clearly not the priority here. If you just want raw gaming power in your pocket, this thing is yelling your name.

      RedMagic 11 Pro Overview

      Display and design

You're getting a 6.85-inch BOE X10 AMOLED panel that runs at 1.5K resolution and 144Hz refresh rate. The bezels on this gaming phone are razor-thin, just 1.25mm. There’s an under-display camera upfront, and yes, the fingerprint scanner also sits beneath the display. The 11 Pro has a unique design language, with nice colors and finishes. It keeps it simple with "Dark Knight" and "Silver Winged War God" finishes.

      Performance and cooling

Since the RedMagic series has been an enthusiast gaming phone, it should be obvious what kind of chipset it features. At the heart of both phones is the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5, the latest Qualcomm flagship chipset already featured in major flagships. This is backed by the R4 gaming chip developed by Nubia itself. You can spec it up to 24GB LPDDR5T RAM and 1TB UFS 4.1 Pro storage. While in Nepal, it is available in a sole 16/512GB trim.

And there’s also an active fan and a liquid metal VC on both of these devices. But on the Pro+, you'd find an extra water cooling layer to keep things under control when the device starts drawing excessive power and heat. Both devices run on RedMagic OS 11 (based on Android 16), with a few AI tweaks baked in.

      Camera and battery

The RedMagic 11 Pro packs a dual 50MP setup at the back, one main and one ultrawide. On the front, there’s a 16MP under-display camera for selfies. Yep, this flagship phone doesn't even have a dedicated zoom camera. Although I don't think anyone with photography priorities is eyeing a gaming phone in the first place.

Similarly, Nubia has also gone quite big on the battery side. The Pro features a larger 8,000 mAh cell with 80W wired charging.

      Extra

On top of all this, the RedMagic 11 Pro brings a Synaptics touch chip with 3,000Hz touch sampling and 520Hz shoulder triggers. There’s also Wi-Fi 7, NFC, an infrared blaster, stereo speakers, and even an IPX8 water resistance rating.
