Display and Design

The ZTE Nubia V80 Design clearly takes inspiration from Apple’s latest iPhone design. The extended camera module, flashlight placement, and overall rear layout closely resemble the iPhone 17 series. While it appears to have three rear cameras, one of them is decorative. A red button below the volume keys acts as a dedicated AI shortcut. The phone comes in Midnight Black, Pale Amber, Celadon Cyan, and Peach Fuzz, and it carries an IP64 rating for dust- and splash-resistance.

On the front, it features a large 6.75-inch FHD+ display with a 120Hz refresh rate. Brightness can reach up to 1,000 nits, making it suitable for outdoor use and media consumption.

Performance and Software

Under the hood, the Nubia V80 Design is powered by the Unisoc T7280 chipset, which is meant for basic day-to-day tasks rather than heavy performance. It is available with up to 8GB RAM and 256GB storage and runs MyOS 16 based on Android 16. Overall performance should be fine for calls, social media, and casual usage.

Camera and Battery

The phone comes with a 50MP main camera and a 2MP depth sensor, while the third rear lens is just for looks. On the front, there’s a 16MP selfie camera. Powering the device is a 5,000mAh battery with 22.5W charging support and 10W reverse charging.

Additional features include Nubia’s Linkfree Bluetooth communication technology and several AI tools such as scam detection, AI writing, smart replies, and real-time translation, all accessible via the dedicated AI button.
