Samsung is preparing to launch three new models: the Galaxy A26, Galaxy A36, and Galaxy A56. Let’s talk about this piece of information along with other leaked information here.

Galaxy A series gets 6 years of updates

What we know so far!

Samsung recently released a teaser video, giving us a quick glimpse of the new Galaxy A series. The video suggests that the Galaxy A26, A36, and A56 will have a new design with a pill-shaped camera bump on the back. And one thing for sure is that these models will come with 6 years of software support. This means they’ll launch with Android 15 and may receive updates all the way up to Android 21.

Display and Rest

When it comes to the display, the Galaxy A56 is expected to feature a 6.7-inch AMOLED screen, while the Galaxy A36 might come with a slightly smaller 6.64-inch display. Both models are likely to have a 120Hz refresh rate and Corning Gorilla Glass Victus+ protection. Inside, the Galaxy A56 will likely run on the Exynos 1580 processor. Along with that, it will come with up to 12GB of RAM and ample storage.

In terms of cameras, both the A56 and A36 will likely sport a triple rear camera setup. The A56 may feature a 50MP primary sensor, a 12MP sensor, and a 5MP sensor. On the front, it will get a 12MP front-facing camera. The A36 is expected to have similar front and main cameras but with a 5MP macro sensor and an 8MP ultra-wide angle lens.

Unfortunately, we have no details about the Galaxy A26.

Galaxy A series Availability

The new Galaxy A series smartphones are expected to debut this March 2. I am pretty excited about the launch because Samsung is brining something different to the table of mid-range smartphones this time.
