The main highlight of the Galaxy Z FLip 5 is the Flex Window. The 3.4-inch cover screen is a massive jump from the 1.9-inch on its predecessor and the biggest Samsung has included in its Flip lineup. 3. Samsung Galaxy S24 Ultra

It’s time of the year! And the S24 Ultra is official in Nepal and already up for preorder. This latest and greatest flagship from Samsung bears some top-of-the-line specs. First up, it is powered by a Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 for Galaxy SoC, slightly overclocked than the regular one. Alongside, you get tonnes of Galaxy AI features such as circle to Google Search, objects eraser, AI keyboard, Live call translate, and so on.

As for the optics, the S24 Ultra continues the quad camera setup but with a difference this time. The regular 10MP telephoto unit with 10X optical zoom is now replaced by a 50MP sensor with 5X optical zoom. Samsung says this lens can achieve optical zoom quality for 10X shots. Other than that, the 10MP 3X telephoto, the 12MP ultrawide cameras, and the 200MP main cameras are here to stay. In terms of videography, you can capture 8K videos at 60fps and 4K footage at 120fps.

4. Samsung Galaxy S24 Plus

Following its Ultra sibling, the Galaxy S24 Plus is also official in Nepal. This time around, it ships with an Exynos 2400 SoC as the SD 8 Gen 3 for Galaxy variant is reserved for South Korea, the US, and China. Talking of the optics, the smartphone continues the 50MP OIS camera, a 12MP ultra-wide unit, and a 10MP telephoto lens with 3X optical zoom. 5. Samsung Galaxy S24

The Galaxy S24 is the cheapest of the S24 Series in Nepal. It is powered by the same Exynos 2400 chipset and features the same triple-camera layout. You get a 50MP main camera with OIS, a 12MP ultrawide unit, and a 10MP telephoto 3X lens. The display here is a 6.2-inch 2X Dynamic 120Hz AMOLED panel with FHD+ resolution and 2600 nits of peak brightness.

Samsung has amped the battery by 100mAh this time, making it 4000mAh. While the 25W wired charging, 15W wireless, and 4.5W reverse wireless charging support are here to stay.

6. Samsung Galaxy S23 Ultra

Samsung launched the Galaxy S23 Ultra in Nepal just a day after its global launch. It’s available here with 12GB RAM and 256GB or 512GB of storage. The big story in this year’s Samsung flagship is the new 200MP ISOCELL HP2 camera sensor which the brand is touting as the “Galaxy’s most advanced camera system.” It shoots images at multiple resolutions using pixel-binning technology. You can, for example, take a 12.5MP, 50MP, or full-sized 200MP image from the S23 Ultra.

The other three rear cameras remain the same: a 12MP ultrawide, a 3x telephoto, and a 10x telephoto, both with 10MP sensors. The selfie camera, on the other hand, sees a drop from 40MP on the S22 Ultra to 12MP. But it now has fast autofocus, 60 fps video capture, and what Samsung calls the “Super HDR selfie camera.”

Another generational change is the new Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 processor, specially customized for the Galaxy S23 series. Hence, it bears the tag “Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 Mobile Platform for Galaxy”. Besides that, the specs are nearly identical to its predecessor, with a boxy design, S-pen compatibility, and a Dynamic AMOLED 2x display with HDR 10+ certification.

7. Samsung Galaxy S23 Plus

Alongside the S23 Ultra, the Galaxy S23 Plus has also arrived in Nepal. This year, Samsung has changed the design of the Galaxy S23 Plus. The phone no longer has the contour cut camera island. Instead, it takes on the appearance of the S22 Ultra, with camera lenses protruding from the back panel. Furthermore, the phone has the new Gorilla Glass Victus 2 protection, which means it should be more durable.

The device is powered by the same Snapdragon 8 gen 2 chip as the S23 Ultra. In addition, Samsung is using new LPDDR5 and UFS 4.0 technology for RAM and storage in the S23 series, which should improve multitasking performance.

The battery capacity also gets an upgrade from 4500mAh to 4700mAh, while it supports the 45W charging as the S22+.

8. Samsung Galaxy S23

The Galaxy S23 is the most affordable model in the lineup retailing at NPR 127,999 for the sole 8/128GB in Nepal. Like the S23+, it has a new back panel design and a new Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 processor with upgraded memory and storage protocols.

The vanilla S23 also gets a battery upgrade, now accompanying a 3900mAh cell, up from the 3700mAh on the vanilla S22. Other aspects of the device, such as the display and camera, remain unchanged from its predecessor. Like the S23 Ultra and S23+, it has Gorilla Glass Victus protection on the front and back.

9. Samsung Galaxy S23 FE 5G

The Galaxy S23 FE 5G is a fresh addition to the semi-flagship arena from Samsung in Nepal. The FE stands for Fan Edition, featuring slightly toned-down specs as compared to the regular S23 Series. Powering the smartphone is Samsung’s homegrown Exynos 2200 chip, based on a 5nm fabrication process. You still get a capable triple-camera setup with a 50MP main shooter with OIS, a 12MP ultrawide unit, and an 8MP telephoto camera with 3X optical zoom.

Talking of the design, the S23 FE inherits a similar design language to its flagship and mid-range siblings. It sports a 6.4-inch AMOLED panel with 120Hz refresh rate and FHD+ resolution. The fueling this guy is a 4,500mAh battery with 25W wired fast charging support. Luckily, it doesn’t miss out on wireless and reverse wireless charging either. On the software side, there is OneUI 5.1 built on top of Android 13.

10. Samsung Galaxy A55 5G

Samsung’s latest Galaxy A54 smartphone brings metal frames for the first time in any ‘A’ device paired with Gorilla Glass Victus + protection on the front and back glass. Inside, there’s the new Exynos 1480 chipset based on a more efficient 4nm architecture. It features a similar core architecture to its predecessor with 4 Cortex A78 cores and 4 Cortex A55s be it at a slightly higher boost clock (2.75 GHz > 2.4GHz). The Xclipse 530 GPU also sees up to a 30% improvement over the Mali G68-MP5 in the previous chip. This is complemented by One UI 6.1 based on Android 14. Plus, Samsung promises four years of major OS updates.

The design remains very similar to the A54 and other higher-end Samsung phones thanks to the individual camera cutouts. On paper, the rear setup remains similar with a 50MP primary, 12MP ultrawide, and a 5MP macro. The display is a larger 6.6-inch 120Hz sAMOLED screen that gets its juice from a 5,000 mAh battery. You can charge it via a 25W adapter bundled with the purchase.

11. Samsung Galaxy A54 5G

The Galaxy A54 5G is Samsung’s newest premium-midrange smartphone in Nepal. It builds on its predecessor, the Galaxy A53 with a new Eyos 1380 chipset. It is a new 5nm-based chipset with four Cortex-A78 and four Cortex-A55 cores. As a result, we expect the performance to be in the ballpark of the Snapdragon 778G. This is complemented by One UI 5.1 based on Android 13. Plus, Samsung promises four years of major OS updates.

From the back, the Galaxy A54 looks identical to the high-end S23 series because of the three individual camera cutouts. They include a new 50MP primary sensor, a 12MP ultrawide, and a 5MP macro sensor. Over on the front, you get a 32MP selfie shooter at the top of the 120Hz sAMOLED screen. Finally, the phone gets its juice from a 5,000mAh battery with 25W fast charging support. That said, Samsung doesn’t include a charger in the box.

12. Samsung Galaxy F54 5G

Next up is the newly launched Galaxy F54, which is quite similar to the Galaxy A54 above. And Samsung has basically gotten rid of a few features from the Galaxy A54 to meet a lower asking price here. This includes everything from getting rid of the IP67 rating to adopting a plastic back instead of glass. Likewise, the Galaxy F54 gets a 108MP primary, an 8MP ultrawide, and a 2MP macro as opposed to a 50MP + 12MP + 5MP setup on the Galaxy A54.

Other than this, the phone is powered by the same Exynos 1380 chip with 8GB RAM and up to 256GB of storage. 13. Samsung Galaxy A25 5G

The Galaxy A25 5G is a fresh new addition to the midrange lineup of Samsung in Nepal. Powered by a homegrown Exynos 1280 5G chipset like the M33 5G, the phone is available in two configurations: 8/128GB and 8/256GB.
