If you are thinking of getting a Samsung smartphone but are confused about which to get, then you have come to the right place. In this article, we have listed the official price, specifications, and individual mini-reviews of each Samsung phone that are available in Nepal.
Authorized Samsung Distributors in Nepal
Currently, Samsung has a wide range of models ranging from budget to high-end. Also, if you are planning to buy a Samsung smartphone, make sure you buy them from an authorized distributor for genuine products and after-sales support.
There are two distributors of Samsung phones in Nepal: Integrated Mobility Solutions (IMS) and Him Electronics. To make sure if a Samsung device is authorized or not, there’s a hologram of either IMS or HIM electronics on the box package. It is beneficial to buy from authorized channels since the Samsung service center only provides replacement and servicing facilities on products bought from authorized distributors.
In 2020, Samsung Nepal implemented the Best Selling Price (BSP) modality. This basically means customers will not be receiving any discounts on the displayed price. Hence, all the Samsung mobile phones available in Nepal that are listed here are the best available price.

1. Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 5
Samsung Galaxy Fold 5 addresses one of the biggest criticisms of its predecessor – the gap. The new generation of Galaxy foldable all sport a waterdrop hinge which Samsung likes to call “Flex Hinge.” This new hinge design allows the two halves to fold completely without a visible gap between them. Moving on, the Fold 5 is both slimmer and lighter than its predecessor and boasts better protection with the latest Gorilla Victus 2. Samsung has even reduced the dimensions of the S Pen to complement the phone. The inner display is now brighter, with a peak brightness of 1,750 nits.
Apart from that, other upgrades are pretty incremental. The phone is powered by Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 for Galaxy with overclocked Prime-X3 cores. You get 12GB of LPDDR5 RAM and storage options of up to 1TB. It ships with Android 13-based One UI 5 out of the box. In Nepal, Samsung offers free 1-year breakage insurance and 1-time protection film replacement on Galaxy Fold 5.

2. Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 5
The main highlight of the Galaxy Z FLip 5 is the Flex Window. The 3.4-inch cover screen is a massive jump from the 1.9-inch on its predecessor and the biggest Samsung has included in its Flip lineup. And with a bigger screen comes larger widgets and increased functionality. Flex Window supports a full-size keyboard, stackable widgets, and more. Also, the new Flex hinge allows the Z Flip 5 to fold seamlessly without a gap. It also helps Z Flip 5 maintain a slimmer form factor.
Moving on, the phone is powered by the new Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 for Galaxy, and it ships with One UI 5 out of the box. There are no major changes in the camera and battery departments.
Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 5 Specifications:

3. Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 4
The Galaxy Z Fold 4 finally arrived in Nepal, months after its global launch. The launch was delayed because of the Nepal government’s import ban on smartphones above USD 300. Finally, it is available in a single 12/256GB variant for NPR 244,999.
The Z Fold 4 has mostly identical specs to its predecessor, but Samsung has made a few tweaks. It’s now about 3% lighter at 263 gm, down from 271 gm. And, the brand has addressed the aspect ratio complaint of the cover display by making the phone shorter and wider. The phone now has a 23.1:9 aspect ratio on the front and 21.6:18 on the inside, as opposed to 24.5:9 and 5:4 on the Fold 3.
Furthermore, the Fold 4 is powered by the Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 processor. And the phone has already been updated to Android 13-based OneUI 5.0, which is now more optimized for large-screen devices. For instance, it has a PC-like “Taskbar” on the bottom of the main display to improve multitasking.
Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 4 Specifications:
- Display:
- Main: 7.6-inch Dynamic AMOLED, QXGA+, 120Hz refresh rate

4. Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 4
Much hasn’t changed in Flip 4 compared to its predecessor. That is, you get a 1.9-inch cover screen on which you can read notifications, respond to messages, and access widgets for various apps. On the inside, there’s a 6.7-inch Dynamic AMOLED 2x panel with a refresh rate of 120Hz. Both screens are shielded by Gorilla Glass Victus.
It is powered by a Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 chip and has currently received the OneUI 5 update. An upgrade in the Flip 4 is it gets a slightly bigger 3700mAh battery vs 3300mAh on the Flip 3. 5. Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 3
Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 3 flaunts a 6.2-inch outer display while the main display measures 7.6 inches. Both panels have a 120Hz refresh rate, and the one on the inside even supports HDR10+.
While the specs sheet of the Fold 3 is very similar to its predecessor, Samsung has improved on durability. There is Gorilla Glass Victus on both the front and the back. Similarly, the new armored aluminum promises 10% better sturdiness.
As for the camera, you get a triple 12MP camera setup at the back, like last year. The main display has a 4MP in-display camera, while the cover display houses a 10MP punch-hole camera. Powering the phone is Snapdragon 888, and the whole setup is fueled by a 4,400mAh battery.

Under the hood, the phone packs a Snapdragon 888 chipset, paired with 8GB RAM and 256GB of internal storage. Fueling the phone is a two-cell 3300mAh battery. The camera setup is just average, as it features a dual 12MP rear camera and a 10MP selfie camera.

7. Samsung Galaxy S23 Ultra
Samsung launched the Galaxy S23 Ultra in Nepal just a day after its global launch. It’s available here with 12GB RAM and 256GB or 512GB of storage. The big story in this year’s Samsung flagship is the new 200MP ISOCELL HP2 camera sensor which the brand is touting as the “Galaxy’s most advanced camera system.” It shoots images at multiple resolutions using pixel-binning technology. You can, for example, take a 12.5MP, 50MP, or full-sized 200MP image from the S23 Ultra.
The other three rear cameras remain the same: a 12MP ultrawide, a 3x telephoto, and a 10x telephoto, both with 10MP sensors. The selfie camera, on the other hand, sees a drop from 40MP on the S22 Ultra to 12MP. But it now has fast autofocus, 60 fps video capture, and what Samsung calls the “Super HDR selfie camera.”
Another generational change is the new Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 processor, specially customized for the Galaxy S23 series. Hence, it bears the tag “Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 Mobile Platform for Galaxy”. Besides that, the specs are nearly identical to its predecessor, with a boxy design, S-pen compatibility, and a Dynamic AMOLED 2x display with HDR 10+ certification.
Samsung Galaxy S23 Ultra Specifications:
- Display: 6.8-inch Dynamic AMOLED 2X, QHD+, 120Hz refresh rate, Gorilla Glass Victus 2
- Chipset: Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 for Galaxy (4nm mobile platform)
- Memory: 8/12GB LPDDR5, 256/512GB/1TB UFS 4.0 storage (fixed)
- Software & UI: One UI 5.1 on top of Android 13 (upgradeable)
- Rear Camera: Quad (200MP main, 12MP ultrawide, 10MP telephoto, 10MP periscope telescope)
- Front Camera: 12MP sensor (hole-punch)
- Security: Fingerprint sensor (ultrasonic in-display)
- Battery: 5000mAh with 45W charging (15W wireless, 4.5W reverse wireless)

8. Samsung Galaxy S23 Plus
Alongside the S23 Ultra, the Galaxy S23 Plus has also arrived in Nepal. This year, Samsung has changed the design of the Galaxy S23 Plus. The phone no longer has the contour cut camera island. Instead, it takes on the appearance of the S22 Ultra, with camera lenses protruding from the back panel. Furthermore, the phone has the new Gorilla Glass Victus 2 protection, which means it should be more durable.
The device is powered by the same Snapdragon 8 gen 2 chip as the S23 Ultra. In addition, Samsung is using new LPDDR5 and UFS 4.0 technology for RAM and storage in the S23 series, which should improve multitasking performance.
The battery capacity also gets an upgrade from 4500mAh to 4700mAh, while it supports the 45W charging as the S22+.
Samsung Galaxy S23+ Specifications:
- Display: 6.6-inch Dynamic AMOLED 2X, FHD+. 120Hz refresh rate, Gorilla Glass Victus 2
- Chipset: Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 for Galaxy (4nm mobile platform)
- Memory: 8GB RAM, 256GB storage (fixed)

10. Samsung Galaxy S22 Ultra
The Galaxy S22 Ultra is Samsung’s flagship phone for the year 2022. It’s the first device in the Galaxy S-series to feature a built-in S-pen, which was a common trait of Galaxy Note devices.
As a result, the Galaxy S22 Ultra is widely referred to as a Note device in all, but in the name. Regardless, it features a 6.8-inch Dynamic AMOLED 2X display with a new Vision Booster feature. Both the front and the back have Gorilla Glass Victus protection.
The camera specs look identical to Galaxy S21 Ultra, with a 108MP sensor, 12MP ultrawide, and a couple of 10MP telephoto lenses responsible for 3x and 10x optical zoom. However, the primary sensor has larger pixels, and Samsung has offered multiple new software features like Adaptive Pixel, Auto Framerate, Detail Enhancer, and more.
Samsung brought the Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 variant of Galaxy S22 Ultra in Nepal, paired with up to 12GB of RAM. Fueling the phone is a 5,000mAh battery that supports 45W wired fast charging.

The Galaxy A73 is the first mid-range phone from Samsung to come with a 108MP OIS camera. The company has paired it with a 12MP ultrawide and two 5MP sensors for macro and portraits. Unfortunately, there is no telephoto lens as in the Galaxy A72.
Moving on, Galaxy A73 5G boots on Android 12 out of the box and will receive 4 years of OS updates, which is still rare in this price segment. The phone also performs noticeably faster than its predecessor, thanks to the Snapdragon 778G processor.
Over on the front, it features a 6.7-inch Super AMOLED Plus panel with a 120Hz refresh rate and Gorilla Glass 5 protection. Fueling it is a 5,000mAh battery that supports charging speeds of up to 25W. However, Samsung doesn’t provide any adapter in the box.

It is a new 5nm-based chipset with four Cortex-A78 and four Cortex-A55 cores. As a result, we expect the performance to be in the ballpark of the Snapdragon 778G. This is complemented by One UI 5.1 based on Android 13. Plus, Samsung promises four years of major OS updates.
From the back, the Galaxy A54 looks identical to the high-end S23 series because of the three individual camera cutouts. They include a new 50MP primary sensor, a 12MP ultrawide, and a 5MP macro sensor. Over on the front, you get a 32MP selfie shooter at the top of the 120Hz sAMOLED screen. 13. Samsung Galaxy F54
Next up is the newly launched Galaxy F54, which is quite similar to the Galaxy A54 above. And Samsung has basically gotten rid of a few features from the Galaxy A54 to meet a lower asking price here. This includes everything from getting rid of the IP67 rating to adopting a plastic back instead of glass. Likewise, the Galaxy F54 gets a 108MP primary, an 8MP ultrawide, and a 2MP macro as opposed to a 50MP + 12MP + 5MP setup on the Galaxy A54.
Other than this, the phone is powered by the same Exynos 1380 chip with 8GB RAM and up to 256GB of storage. It runs on Android 13-based One UI 5.1 and Samsung has also committed to 4 years of OS and 5 years of security updates for this phone. As for the display, Galaxy F54 carries a big 6.7-inch Super AMOLED Plus panel with an FHD resolution and a 120Hz refresh rate. And since this is an “F” series phone, the Galaxy F54 also boasts a massive 6000mAh battery.

It is the successor to Galaxy A52 and brings a new Exynos 1280 chip underneath. It is an in-house chip built on a 5nm process. On the software front, Samsung promises 4 years of OS updates and 5 years of security patches.
The display size has remained unchanged, but Samsung added a smoother 120Hz Super AMOLED panel. There is no change in camera hardware as well. You get the same 64MP (OIS) + 12MP + 5 + 5 quad-camera setup as last year.
Galaxy A53 5G skips on a 3.5mm headphone jack, and there is no charger in the box, as well.
Samsung Galaxy A53 5G Specifications:

18. Samsung Galaxy A24 4G
Like Samsung’s most smartphone launches in 2023 so far, the new Galaxy A24 4G also shares a lot of visual similarities with the premium “S” series phones. There’s a notable performance boost this time. Galaxy A24 4G is powered by MediaTek’s Helio G99, which is significantly more powerful compared to Snapdragon 680 on its predecessor.
