The S20, however, lacks the TOF sensor you get on the S20+, but the remaining triple rear camera setup stays the same.

And despite having a compact body, Samsung has included a decent 4000mAh battery on the S20. Like the S20+, you get a 25W fast wired charging and 15W fast wireless charging. There’s 128GB of storage and 8GB of RAM too. 6. Samsung Galaxy Note 10 Plus

The Galaxy Note 10 Plus is Samsung’s latest offering in its top-of-the-line “Note” series of smartphones. Launched back in late-2019, it is still one of the most premium flagships available in Nepal. With the Note 10 Plus, you get a Stylus pen for writing notes, sketching, and other stuff.

The S-pen is complemented by a massive 6.8-inch display with a narrow chin on the bottom and a tiny punch-hole cutout on the top. With a whopping 90.9% screen to body ratio, the smartphone looks immersive. And the Quad-HD+ resolution on its screen also helps make the handset absolutely stunning.

Samsung Note 10+

Powering the device is an Exynos 9825 chipset backed by 12GB of RAM. And despite being almost a year old chipset, the performance hasn’t aged. Powering the Note 10+ is a big 4300mAh battery which provides a full day of usage even if you are a heavy user.

As for the cameras, the phone comes with a quad-camera setup at the back. The module includes a standard wide-angle lens, an ultra-wide lens, and a telephone lens. 7. Samsung Galaxy Note 10

Samsung Galaxy Note 10

The Galaxy Note 10 is the toned-down version of the Note 10 Plus. So a few compromises have been made in terms of specifications when compared with the higher-end model. The regular Note 10 comes with a slightly smaller 6.3-inch display with Full-HD+ resolution.

And unlike the bigger and mightier Note 10 Plus, there is no ToF sensor on its back camera either. Similarly, it lacks an SD card slot, has a smaller battery, and a lesser amount of RAM, which help differentiate Note 10 with the bigger Note 10 Plus. So, if you are looking for a small form factor and an S-pen with high-end specs, Samsung Note 10 is a perfect buy in Nepal.

8. Samsung Galaxy S10 Plus

Galaxy S10 Plus is Samsung’s flagship S-series phone from 2019. Despite being a year old device, the S10 Plus is still an excellent option in 2020. Samsung Nepal has also dropped the price recently making it an affordable high-end phone.

Samsung Galaxy S10 plusThe Galaxy S10 Plus sports a 6.4-inch QHD Super AMOLED screen which is still considered one of the best displays on a smartphone. Yet, you don’t get a higher refresh rate like the S20 series here. Nonetheless, its large 4,100 mAh battery provides great endurance. It is also the first S-series to have an ultrasonic in-display fingerprint scanner. Furthermore, it also retains the 3.5mm headphone jack, which is a distinctive hardware feature in 2020.

Likewise, it comes with a triple camera setup on the back and dual cameras up front which reside inside a pill-shaped punch hole. The cameras capture note-worthy images with excellent dynamic range, colors, and details. Similarly, the performance is still very good. It is powered by the Exynos 9820 chipset along with 8GB of RAM. You can buy the S10 Plus in Nepal in 2 memory configurations: 128GB and 512GB. Samsung Galaxy S10 mobile price nepalThe Samsung Galaxy S10 is the second member of the S10 series. It is a little smaller and cheaper than the Galaxy S10 Plus. For storage, you only get the 128 GB storage variant in Nepal.

So, if you want to save some bucks and get a high-end phone below 1 lakh in Nepal, the Galaxy S10 ticks all the boxes. It features a gorgeous design, the latest One UI software, an excellent camera setup, and a vibrant QHD+ Super AMOLED display.

10. Samsung Galaxy Note 9

Galaxy Note 9 grabbed DisplayMate’s “best display award” when it launched back in 2018. And even in 2020, it’s AMOLED display shines bright with excellent colors and contrast. It also comes with a premium design and doesn’t feel outdated.Samsung Galaxy Note 9

However, since its almost a 2-year-old device, its Exynos 9810 chipset along with 6GB of RAM can be considered mediocre. But, Samsung has recently rolled out the Android 10 update on the Galaxy Note 9. Similarly, it also lacks an ultra-wide-angle lens, which is getting wide-spread even on budget Samsung devices these days.

Note 9’s battery life is still solid as it comes with a 4000mAh battery. Similarly, you get a heart rate sensor and an iris scanner on this phone, which all the latest Samsung flagships lack. Samsung Nepal has also recently dropped the price to Rs. 69,999, but I am not 100% convinced that you should get the Note 9 today as you can get plenty of fast performing phones at this price range.

Samsung Galaxy Note 9 Specs:

  • Display: 6.4-inch QHD+ Super AMOLED, Gorilla Glass 5
  • Chipset: Exynos 9810
  • RAM: 6GB RAM
  • Storage: 128GB, expandable via micro SD card

11. Samsung Galaxy Note 10 Lite

Note series from Samsung usually come with a high-cost. So, to make the S-pen accessible for all, Samsung launched the Note 10 Lite with S-pen at a midrange price. Not only does it offer a stylus, but the Note 10 Lite also has the same camera setup as more expensive Note 10.

However, Samsung has cut corners in terms of design and performance. You get a plastic back, instead of the costlier glass body. Upfront, it has a 6.7-inch 1080P display instead of a 2K curved panel we’re used to seeing in the more premium Note device.

Samsung Galaxy Note 10 lite

Furthermore, the Note 10 Lite has Exynos 9810 chipset which was used on older Note 9. So, on the performance and gaming-wise, it takes a slight hit. Memory wise, there’s 8GB of RAM and 128GB of storage. As compared to Note 10, it also lacks IP dust and waterproofing, wireless charging, and an ultrasonic fingerprint scanner. The latter of which is substituted with a regular optical fingerprint reader.

But, its battery endurance is great. With a big 4500mAh cell and the support for fast 25W charging, the Note 10 Lite is a battery champ. It also runs the latest Android 10 with One UI 2.1. Samsung also launched the Note 10 Lite in Nepal at the world’s best price by collaborating with its e-commerce partner Daraz. However, you can now purchase it from offline mobile retail shops too.

Samsung Galaxy Note 10 Lite Specs:

  • Display: 6.7-inches FullHD+ “Infinity-O” Super AMOLED
  • Chipset: Exynos 9810
  • RAM: 8GB

  • Front Camera: 32MP
  • Security: Optical in-display Fingerprint-Scanner, Face unlock
  • Battery: 4500 mAh battery with 25W fast charging
  • Price: Rs. 63,799 Rs. 58,999 (8/128GB)

Samsung Galaxy A71

Galaxy A71 is the latest premium mid-range smartphone in Samsung’s arsenal. As compared to its predecessor, It sports an upgraded quad camera setup of 64MP primary lens and a 12MP ultra-wide-angle lens. The display on the A71 is also aesthetically improved as you get a center lying punch-hole where its 32MP selfie camera resides.

It also improves on the performance department as you get a much better Snapdragon 730 chipset paired with 8GB of DDR4X RAM. Other specs like a 6.7-inch Super AMOLED display, 4500mAh battery, and 25W fast charging remain the same as the Galaxy A70. The phone currently runs on Android 10 OS with OneUI 2.0 layered on top. 14. Samsung Galaxy M31

Next up, we have the successor to the M30s. The new Galaxy M31 brings very little upgrades to the table, though it’s given-in to the quad-camera hype as well.

Samsung Galaxy M31

Talking about the cameras, there’s a 64MP primary lens, an 8MP ultra-wide-angle lens, a 5MP depth sensor, and a 5MP macro lens. The camera arrangement is similar to that of the M30s as well. Upfront, there is a ‘U’ shaped notch housing the 32MP selfie shooter. The 64MP primary lens is marginally better than that of M30s.

Besides this, there’s really not any difference between the two phones. It is powered by the same Exynos 9611 chipset, has a massive 6000mAh battery with support for 15W charging, a stunning 6.4-inches Super AMOLED display, and 6/8GB of RAM with either 64 or 128GB of internal storage.

Samsung Galaxy M31 Specs:

  • Display: 6.4-inch Full HD+ Infinity-U Super AMOLED
  • Chipset: Exynos 9611

15. Samsung Galaxy M21

Samsung Galaxy M21

Another kinda-sorta similar phone on the list is the Galaxy M21. Sharing a lot of similarities with other ‘M’-series phones on the list, the Galaxy M21 is not that interesting of a device.
