Acer Predator Triton 14 AI (2025) announced at Computex 2025

Acer has unveiled several new products at Computex 2025, ranging from productivity to gaming laptops and even great gaming monitors. But among them one of my most exciting announcements was the Predator Triton 14 AI. So Let's learn more about the Acer Predator Triton 14 AI 2025, including its expected price in Nepal.

Design and Display

For design, it carries a sleek and compact design that feels both premium and practical in hand. Acer this time has refined the build with an anti-fingerprint coating on the chassis which helps it stay clean even after an extended period of time. And, despite being a performance-focused laptop it maintains a simple look that works well in both gaming and professional environments. The Triton 14 AI 2025 weighs just 1.6 kg which is quite impressive for what it packs inside. The touchpad is also another standout part here since Acer has gone with a large Gorilla Glass haptic trackpad that even has native stylus support. Meaning you can turn it into a functional mini drawing tablet. And by the way, you get the stylus inside the box itself. On the front of the Triton 14 AI, we get a stunning 14.5 inch OLED display with a sharp 2.8K resolution (2880 x 1800). The display support a fast 120Hz refresh rate and its even Calman Verified for color accuracy and covers 100% of the DCI-P3 color coverage making it perfect for content creation or even gaming. This OLED panel is also touch display which is a great bonus in gaming laptops. And, Acer has paid attention to other details too such as now it has a 1080p IR webcam with AI-powered human presence detection, allowing the laptop to automatically lock or dim the screen when you're away or not looking directly at it.

Performance and Storage

In terms of performance, the Acer Predator Triton 14 AI 2025 is powered by the Intel Seires 2 Processors i.e the Core Ultra 9 288V processor in its high-end configuration. This CPU has 8 cores (4 performance + 4 efficient cores) and 8 threads with a maximum turbo frequency of 5.1 GHz. And in terms of GPU, we can pair it with up to an NVIDIA RTX 5070 graphics. Just so you know, since Acer went with Intel's "Lunar Lake" processor for this laptop, you won't be able to upgrade memory afterwards. The storage is still upgradable, though, and the Triton 14 AI can take up to 2TB of PCIe Gen 4 SSD.

For cooling its advanced and high-power CPU, GPU, the Predator Triton 14 AI 2025 uses Acer’s 6th Gen AeroBlade 3D Fans technology featuring ultra-thin 0.05mm metal blades that throw airflow by 20% efficiently compared to the previous generation. It is also the world’s first laptop to feature graphene thermal interface material (TIM), which improves heat transfer by 14.5% over traditional pastes.

Despite being slim and portable, the Predator Triton 14 AI 2025 doesn’t skip corners on connectivity. It supports the latest Wi-Fi 7 and includes a solid range of ports such as two USB-C ports (including Thunderbolt 4), two USB-A ports, a 3.5mm headphone jack, a microSD card reader, and a full-size HDMI 2.1 output for external displays.
