Asus has launched the Vivobook Go E1504 (2025) model in Nepal, and it is quite similar to its predecessors, with almost no change in design or anything else besides processors. The laptop, right now, comes only in one variant in a 15.6-inch size. Let’s take a look at this article.
ASUS Vivobook Go E1504 (2025) Overview
Design and Display
-design.jpg)
The Vivobook Go E1504 (2025) is no different from its predecessor and follows essentially the same design philosophy, made up of polycarbonate all the way through. The Go 15 weighs 1.63 kg and comes in silver. Not exactly a head turner, but, whatever it's worth, having a lighter laptop is such a relief more than anything else.
Like its predecessor, the laptop, expectedly, comes in a 15.6-inch FHD display in the standard 16:9 aspect ratio. The panel provided by Asus is an IPS at 250 nits with 45% NTSC coverage and a 60Hz refresh rate, which is firmly in average territory. But there is nothing wrong with these panels exactly, as they are anti-glare, readable indoors, and fine for YouTube and documents. They are just not remarkable in any way, and 250 nits is not good enough for laptops that are supposed to be taken anywhere near a window. Anyway, it gets a 720p webcam with a physical privacy shutter.
Performance and Memory

Despite having a new processor with a different naming, it also has something common with the laptops that preceded it. That is, they are all Mendocino chips built on the older Zen 2 architecture, the same cores AMD was shipping in the Ryzen 4000 series back in 2020. AMD has simply refreshed and rebranded them across multiple product generations. The "30" in Ryzen 3 30 is a new name for the same engineering. That means 4 cores, 8 threads, and a maximum boost of 4.1 GHz on the Go E1504. However, I will still say that, if you are a student who needs to browse, write assignments, and join Zoom calls, these chips are fine. But anything beyond that, they aren’t particularly useful.
The Go 15's Radeon 610M has two compute units, the smallest iGPU AMD makes. It exists to push pixels to the display and not much else. The memory situation in this machine is also not particularly great. They are 8GB soldered RAM, with no upgrade path. If you look at the older variants, which come with a 14” display and a 3-year-old chip, it would make sense, but for a brand new 15.6-inch 2025 mode, that is a particularly difficult pill to swallow, because this is not a cheap laptop by Nepal's budget standards, and you are locked into 8GB with no way out. Similarly, the storage is a 512GB PCIe 3.0 SSD.

The battery capacity has changed and remained identical at 42 Wh, which is paired with a 45W adapter that supports The Go 15 adds a fingerprint reader for biometric login. .
Should You Buy the ASUS Vivobook Go E1504 (2025) in Nepal?
The Vivobook Go E1504 (2025) is recommended, but only if you are getting started with laptops. It is commendable for basic tasks, including document work, multitasking, and so on and so forth. But there’s nothing really remarkable about this device, at least not at this price range. For a much lower price, you can get a display with a better refresh rate. And there are even some excellent laptops for performance at this price range.
