Asus just expanded its ARM-based laptop lineup at CES 2026. The new Zenbook A16 is essentially a larger, 16-inch version of the A14, and focuses on long battery life and a very thin frame without the weight you’d usually expect from a big screen. This article will discuss everything about the latest ASUS Zenbook A16, including its price in Nepal, specifications, and availability.
ASUS Zenbook A16 Overview
Design and Ceraluminum Build

Even though it’s a 16-inch laptop, the Zenbook A16 weighs only 1.2 kg. That’s because Asus used their "Ceraluminum" material for the entire chassis. It’s a mix of ceramic and aluminum that's supposed to be scratch-resistant. To give you an idea of how light that is, it's actually lighter than many 14-inch laptops on the market. It comes in two nature-inspired colors: Iceland Gray and Zabriskie Beige.
Performance and Cooling
Under the hood, this is a Copilot+ PC powered by the Snapdragon X2 Elite Extreme chip. It has 18 Oryon cores and a dedicated NPU capable of 80 TOPS for AI tasks. This chip can run at a 65W TDP, which is quite high for a laptop this thin. To handle that heat, Asus used a dual-fan cooling system and a specialized airflow structure that pulls air through the keyboard to keep the hottest zones cool without getting louder than 25 dB during light work.
Display and Battery Life
The screen is a 16-inch Lumina OLED with a 3K resolution and a 120 Hz refresh rate. It can get very bright, and can hit almost up to 1,100 nits when watching HDR content. Since it uses an ARM-based processor, Asus claims you can get over 21 hours of battery life on a single charge. They’ve also updated the battery tech to last through 1,200 charging cycles.

For ports, you get two USB4 Type-C ports, one USB 3.2 Type-A, an HDMI 2.1 port, and a full-sized SD 4.0 card reader. The keyboard has 1.3mm of key travel and uses "Excimer-coated" keycaps. The touchpad is also 40% larger than previous generations and supports smart gestures for things like adjusting volume or brightness by sliding your finger along the edges.
