The boAt Nirvana Ion ANC is almost the same earbuds as its base variant. Given that, it does not deviate much in terms of design. It comes in an in-ear design along with the same groovy patterns on the buds’ stem. Moreover, it also boasts the same IPX4 water resistance. However, the ANC variant does come with additional colour options in the form of Rose Quartz, Northern Lights, and Blazing Comets. In the meantime, the Black, and White finishes also get a sprinkle of the other colour on top.
These earbuds rely on 10mm drivers on each side to deliver the audio. With this, it operates in the frequency range of 20Hz to 20KHz. As the name of boAt Nirvana Ion ANC suggests, it comes with active noise cancellation of up to 32dB, which is easily its highlighting feature. On top of that, you get the quad-mic and ENx technology that helps maintain clarity during calls.

Features and the rest
Other than the ANC, another attractive feature of the boAt Nirvana Ion ANC is the dual-EQ mode. Here, you can toggle between the “boAt Signature Sound” and the “Crystal Bionic Sound” — which are just fancy ways of saying bass mode and balanced mode. If the two presets are insufficient, you can further customise the tuning through the boAt Hearables app.
Talking of connectivity, these earbuds are equipped with Bluetooth v5.2 and can be connected to up to two devices simultaneously. Furthermore, they also offer in-ear detection as well as IWP features for added convenience. You also get “Beast Mode” dedicated to gaming, where the buds’ latency drops as low as 60ms. Lastly, the boAt Nirvana Ion ANC packs 70mAh cells on each of its buds, while the case has a large 600mAh battery. With this, they offer up to 120 hours of playback when the ANC is turned off.
