Huawei: Brand Overview

Huawei is one of those brands that doesn’t need much introduction. It was founded back in 1987 and was one of the largest smartphone manufacturers at one point in time. Huawei was ‟the” company that could challenge the duopoly of Samsung, and Apple in the smartphone business. It produced quality goods at competitive price points and constantly pushed the boundaries of innovation. It had a sizable market share and had even established itself as a representative of China’s technological might.   Unfortunately, Huawei got caught in the crossfire of the whole US vs. China ordeal and somewhat ‟fell off” from global relevance. Things were looking very bad for Huawei, however, it pulled through and is doing well in its home country. It still has some amount of global presence, albeit nowhere near what used to be. Huawei produces a wide range of products from smartphones and laptops to telecommunication equipment and solar panels.

Huawei in Nepal

As mentioned earlier, Huawei was a big deal internationally — the case wasn’t any different in Nepal either. It was booming here in Nepal and was well-recognised by Nepali folks. It had the quality and technology to attract the tech-savvy crowd. While the competitive price it offered further helped its case. It is safe to say, that it was one of the most popular brands with a registered company, authorised distributors, showrooms, and service centres here in Nepal. However, the whole US trade ban sent its ripple here in Nepal as well. Huawei smartphones are almost non-existent currently in the Nepali market as well. Although, it lives on in the form of various other devices and smartphone accessories.

However, they do have a minimum of an IPX4 rating and a driver size of 10mm. The Huawei TWS earbuds have distinctive features, price points, and personalities. Therefore, you can easily choose one according to your liking.
