Huawei Watch GT 5 is now officially available in Nepal

While Huawei’s tri-fold phone is taking the world by storm, the Chinese tech giant just dropped a bunch of new smartwatches. Amongst the latest additions are the updated members of the Watch GT series. It has become official in Nepal as well. Design and Display

The standard version of the company’s flagship smartwatch comes in multiple design choices. Firstly, it is available in 46mm and 41mm dial sizes. The former is targeted at the male audience, while the latter is for the ladies.

Likewise, the 46mm option comes in Blue, Brown, and Black with woven, fluoroelastomer, and composite leather straps respectively. On the other hand, the 41mm option has more choices and comes in a petite look. It is available in Brown, Blue, White, Gold, and Black with fluoroelastomer, composite leather, woven, and Milanese as strap options.

All the Huawei Watch GT 5 options come in a stainless steel chassis with ultra-hard coating and a nano-film waterproof finish. These watches are also IP69K and 5ATM rated.

For the screen, the larger option obviously has the larger screen measuring 1.43 inches. Meanwhile, the 41mm option gets a 1.32-inch one. Both options have a circular dial with an AMOLED panel that stretches 466 x 466 pixels. As a result, the Huawei Watch GT 5 46mm has a lower pixel density of 326PPI compared to 352 PPI on the 41mm option.

Features and Battery

The Huawei Watch GT 5 offers a handful of features to its users. Firstly, the watch is equipped with Bluetooth v5.2 and NFC for wireless connectivity. As such, it supports users in making calls and making contactless payments.

It allows you to track all your health and activity with an added level of precision — thanks to 100+ workout modes and five-way navigation support on top. This watch also provides insight into one’s calorie deficit when coupled with the Stay Fit app.

Furthermore, Huawei has included an exclusive Emotional well-being app, which highlights your current mood with a cute little Panda. There is a breathing exercise feature as well, to help you keep the stress levels in check.

With all the features it packs, the Huawei Watch GT 5 offers two different amounts of battery life. This is due to their varying sizes which in turn accommodate different battery capacities. That being said, the 46mm one can last a maximum of 14 days, while on regular usage it lasts somewhere near nine days. Similarly, the 42mm can go up to seven days tops and five days on normal use. Both the watches support wireless charging, the cradle for which is included in the box.
