Infinix has started teasing the Note 60 Pro on social media, including Facebook. Infinix Note 60 Pro Overview

The Note 60 Pro is the successor to the Note 50 Pro and will sit in the middle of the Note 60 lineup. That lineup is expected to include the regular Note 60 and the Note 60 Ultra as well. Infinix is positioning this as a mid-range phone, but from what’s leaked so far, it’s clearly trying to stand out in design and features and has some differences with the regular Note 60.

      Design and Matrix Display

      undefined

The biggest talking point is the rear design. The phone features a large camera island inspired by the iPhone 17 Pro and Pro Max. Although iPhone-inspired design has been pretty much the norm these days, most especially in budget to midrange sections, Infinix doesn’t even stop there. As they are adding a rear matrix display, which is essentially a mini LED screen integrated into the camera module.

It works like an active dot matrix panel, similar in concept to the Nothing Phone 3 Glyph Interface or the ROG Phone 9 Pro. This rear display can show the time, weather updates, notifications, music controls, charging progress, and dynamic back visuals. The phone has a confirmed metal body and a premium leather-textured back panel. The rear camera layout also stretches edge-to-edge.

Infinix has confirmed three color variants: Silk Green, Solar Orange, and Torino Black. The Solar Orange resembles the Cosmic Orange shade seen on the iPhone 17 Pro and Pro Max.

      Display

On the front, the Note 60 Pro will feature a 6.78-inch Ultra HDR display. It carries a 1.5K resolution and a 144Hz refresh rate. Leaks mention it as an OLED panel. Other specifications regarding color gamut, brightness etc is yet to be revealed.

      Performance and Camera

The phone will be powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 7s Gen 4 5G chipset. That puts it in the upper mid-range segment. Compared to its sibling, the chipset is far more reliable and much more performance-capable. This year, it even featured on the Xiaomi Redmi Note 15 Pro Plus 5G. Meanwhile, on the software side, it is expected to run Android 16 with XOS 16 on top. Infinix is reportedly promising three years of updates. Leaks tell us that the device also features much better cooling, as it is apparently handled by a 3D IceCore VC vapor chamber system.

The main camera is a 50MP Night Master sensor with OIS support. The rear module integrates directly with the Matrix Display system. For selfies, there have been a lot of rumors about its front camera, but the most recent rumor suggests to us that it is going ot be a 13MP  camera.

      Battery and Charging

Battery capacity is listed at 6,500mAh and will be supported by a 90W fast charger. Similarly, leaks also mentions us that the phone will support wireless charging at 30W. Infinix is also promoting something called Battery Self Healing Tech, which will apparently last up to six years of self-healing battery technology. Other specs are pretty much scant at the moment, but it has been noted that the Note 60 Pro will feature JBL-tuned stereo speakers as well.

The phone hasn’t officially launched yet. But we expect the Note 60 Pro to start at no less than NPR 49,999.

Should you buy the Infinix Note 60 Pro in Nepal?

It’s not available in Nepal yet, so this is all based on leaks. If it launches around the expected price, it could be a great choice for those who want something different in design, especially with the Matrix Display and leather back. But at around NPR 50K, competition is strong, so it will depend on what else you expect from a smartphone from a smarphone. Since we don't know how well it functions yet, but the specs look very enticing.
