Lenovo IdeaPad Vibe launched as a colorful MacBook Neo rival with OLED display and plenty of ports!

Lenovo has introduced its all-new IdeaPad Vibe series at IFA 2026, and it seems like Lenovo wants to compete directly with Apple’s MacBook Neo. Starting at $699, the laptop comes in both 14-inch and 15-inch sizes, with colorful designs, multiple processor options from AMD, Intel, and Snapdragon, OLED display options, and more. So yeah, in this article, I will discuss everything you need to know about the Lenovo IdeaPad Vibe, including its design, display, performance, features, and expected availability.

Lenovo IdeaPad Vibe Overview:
Design and Display

Starting with the design, Lenovo has done something a little different with the IdeaPad Vibe. Instead of going for the usual boring silver or gray finish, the laptop comes in a bunch of vibrant colors, including Dreamy Violet, Spicy Gold, Zen Green, Chill Blue, Radiant Coral, Moody Blue, and Lowkey Gray. Some variants even get a matching keyboard, which gives the laptop a more playful look. It is also quite easy to carry around, especially the 14-inch model, which is just 14.9mm thick and weighs around 1.27kg.

As for the display, you get 14-inch and 15-inch options, so you can pick whichever size suits you better. Lenovo is also offering both IPS LCD and OLED panels. The OLED dispaly versions are available in Lowkey Grey and Moody Blue and also come with up to 100% DCI-P3 coverage. The IPS models aren’t too bad either, with some configurations offering a 120Hz refresh rate and up to 100% sRGB coverage. 

So yeah, there’s a pretty good mix here, whether you want a smoother display or simply a better-looking screen.

Performance and Memory

Talking about the performance, Lenovo is giving the IdeaPad Vibe quite a few options to choose from. The laptop will be available with AMD Ryzen AI 400 series processors and Qualcomm Snapdragon X chips, while Intel-powered variants are also expected later. So, depending on whether you prioritize performance, battery life, or software compatibility, there should be an option that fits.

For memory, we can configure the device with up to 32GB of RAM and up to 1TB of storage, and interestingly, AMD variants also support dual SSDs, which is a nice touch if you need more storage. 

Connectivity and Ports

For connectivity, the IdeaPad Vibe comes with Wi-Fi 7 and Bluetooth 5.4. And when it comes to physical ports, you get two USB-C ports, two USB-A ports, a full-size HDMI port, a 3.5mm headphone jack, and a microSD card reader.
