Build and Display

Starting with the build, the all-new Legion 5 15IAX10 comes with an aluminum top lid, an ABS plastic bottom, and a keyboard deck. Other than this, it features Lenovo’s new Legion ColdFront: a hyper-cooling system that has slightly changed the device's design language, with most ports now on the side, leaving the HDMI and power ports at the exhaust. The laptop also ships with a 24-zone RGB keyboard and is available in single Eclipse Black in Nepal.

Now moving to my favorite part, i.e., its display, it features a 15.1-inch OLED screen with a resolution of 2560 × 1600. The display includes all the flagship-level features, such as a fast 165Hz refresh rate, 100% DCI-P3 color coverage, Dolby Vision support, and more. For brightness, we also get 500 nits of typical and 1000 nits of HDR brightness, which is more than enough for outdoor visibility.

Performance and Memory

Under the hood, we get Intel’s second-most-powerful chip, the Intel Core Ultra 9 275HX, with 24 cores and 24 threads and a max turbo of 5.4 GHz. This processor can handle anything you throw at it without any issue. The GPU is paired with the RTX 5070, which is more than enough for 2.5K gaming.

Talking about memory, the laptop ships with 32GB of DDR5 RAM clocked at 5600 MT/s, and for storage, we get 512GB, which should be enough for most users.

Connectivity and Battery

In terms of connectivity, it comes with 3x USB-A 3.2 Gen 1 ports, 1x USB-C 3.2 Gen 1 port, 1x USB-C Thunderbolt 4 port, 1x HDMI 2.1 port, 1x Ethernet port, and, lastly, a headphone/mic combo. For wireless connectivity, it comes with Wi-Fi 7 and Bluetooth 5.4.

Talking about the battery, it comes with an 80Wh cell that charges via a 245W charger, which is included inside the box.
