      Lenovo Legion 5 15APH10 Overview

      Design and Display

Starting with the design, the all-new Legion comes with a sturdy build, featuring an aluminum top along with an ABS plastic bottom and keyboard deck. Lenovo has updated the Legion series with its new Legion ColdFront: Hyper cooling system, which slightly changes the design language. Most of the ports are now placed on the sides instead of the back; however, Lenovo has still managed to keep the charging port and HDMI port at the rear—a feature not present on the higher-end Legion Pro 5. The laptop ships with a 24-zone RGB keyboard and is available in a single Eclipse Black color option.

Moving to the front, it features a 15.1-inch OLED display with a resolution of 2560 × 1600. The display includes all the flagship features you would expect, such as a fast 165Hz refresh rate and 100% DCI-P3 color coverage.

However, note that it lacks support for G-SYNC, FreeSync, and Advanced Optimus. Since it uses a unique 15.1-inch panel, you may experience screen tearing while playing fast-paced games.

      Performance and Memory

Inside this beast, we get a rebranded version of the Ryzen 7 8845HS i.e the Ryzen 7 260. It features 8 Zen 4 cores and 16 threads, with a maximum boost clock of up to 5.1 GHz. The CPU is equipped with 16 MB of L3 cache and has a configurable TDP ranging from 35 W to 54 W.

On the GPU side, there are two configurations available one with the RTX 5050 and another with the RTX 5060. Both GPUs come with 8 GB of GDDR7 VRAM and come with a 115 W TGP but with different boost clocks.

For memory and storage, both variants include 16 GB of DDR5 RAM clocked at 5600 MT/s, along with a 512 GB Gen 4 NVMe SSD.

      Battery and more…

Talking about the battery, it comes with an 80Wh battery with a 245W power adapter inside in the box.

In terms of ports, it comes with USB Type-A ports, three USB Type-C ports, one HDMI port, a headphone jack, and an Ethernet port. For wireless connectivity, it supports Wi-Fi 7 and Bluetooth 5.4.
