Motorola's brought the Moto G Power (2026) to the US market. This latest phone is actually a refresh of its standard G Power series, which they launch at this time of year, and there’s also not much difference from its predecessor. However, you still get excellent durability at such an affordable price. Now, let's jump in this article, where I will discuss everything about the latest Moto G Power (2026), including its specifications, US pricing, and when we might see it in Nepal.

      Moto G Power (2026) Overview

      Design and Display

      undefined

The Moto G Power (2026) looks nearly identical to the 2025 model—same dimensions, same weight at 208 grams, same 8.7mm thickness. Motorola's added a vegan leather back panel in two Pantone-validated colors: Pure Cashmere and Evening Blue. The real upgrade is the protection. You're getting Corning Gorilla Glass 7i on the display, IP68 and IP69 water and dust resistance, and MIL-STD-810H military-grade certification. That means this phone's been tested for drops, temperature extremes, and humidity across 14 different categories.

The display is a 6.8-inch LCD panel with FHD+ resolution (2,388 x 1,080 pixels) and a 120Hz refresh rate. Its peak brightness sits at 1,000 nits. But at the same time It's the same display size as the 2025 model, though Motorola claims the brightness is slightly improved.

      Performance

The Moto G Power (2026) uses the same MediaTek Dimensity 6300 chipset as the 2025 model. It's a 6nm processor that's only decent for basic tasks. You're getting 8GB of LPDDR4X RAM and 128GB of UFS 2.2 storage, with microSD expansion up to 1TB. The regular Moto G (2026), by comparison, only has 4GB of RAM, so the Power variant at least gives you more memory. And i think its equally worth reminding that the two-year-old, 2024 Moto G Power used the Dimensity 7020, which actually had better benchmark scores than the 6300. So in a way, Motorola downgraded the processor last year and is now sticking with that same chip for 2026. The phone ships with Android 16, which is a plus.

      Camera System

The camera setup includes a 50MP main sensor with OIS and f/1.8 aperture, an 8MP ultrawide lens with f/2.2 aperture, and a macro vision lens. The front camera is a 32MP shooter with f/2.0 aperture, which is double the resolution of the 2025 model's 16MP selfie camera. Motorola's added AI features like Auto Smile Capture and Enhanced Night Vision as well. Whereas, the video recording maxes out at 1080p @ 60fps for both front and rear cameras.

      Battery and Charging

The Moto G Power (2026) packs a 5,200mAh battery, which is only 200mAh larger than the 2025 model's 5,000mAh cell. That's a “record” for the Moto G Power series, but it's still disappointing when you understand what Chinese smartphone company are up to these days. Anyway, the battery gets its charging from a 30W wired charger, and wireless charging has been removed after appearing on the 2025 model's 15W wireless charging support. Motorola also claims the battery should retain over 80% capacity after 1,000 charge cycles.

      Other Features

The phone comes with stereo speakers with Dolby Atmos support, a 3.5mm headphone jack, and USB 2.0 via USB-C. There's a side-mounted fingerprint scanner, though the 2026 model drops NFC after the 2025 version had it.
