Motorola has unveiled the Moto Watch at CES 2026. It's a health and fitness-focused smartwatch which is also the first Motorola device to carry the "Powered by Polar" badge. Motorola has entered into a partnership with Polar, which is a well-known sports science company, and brings features like Smart Calories, Nightly Recharge, and Activity Score to the Moto Watch. This article will discuss everything about the Motorola Moto Watch, including its specifications and availability. Let's dive in!
Motorola Moto Watch Overview
Design and Build

The Moto Watch features a 1.43-inch OLED display and comes in a 47mm round aluminum case with a stainless steel crown. It comes with three band options: silicone, leather, and stainless steel. The watch carries IP68 dust and water resistance plus 1 ATM rating. The display is protected by Gorilla Glass 3.
Health and Fitness Tracking
The Moto Watch includes step tracking, continuous heart rate monitoring, blood oxygen (SpO₂) monitoring, stress tracking, and sleep tracking. But the real differentiator here is the Polar integration. The Moto Watch is the first Motorola device to be "Powered by Polar." It brings Polar's sports science expertise to the health tracking features.
So what's the feature of the so-called “Powered by Polar,” you may ask. Well, according to Motorola, this Polar's Smart Calories feature estimates calorie burn more ‘accurately by factoring in heart rate, body composition, and workout intensity.’ The nightly recharge feature will measure how well you've recovered overnight by analyzing sleep quality and heart rate variability. You also get features like activity score, which gives you a single number that summarizes your daily activity level. The Moto Watch also includes hydration reminders, medication alerts, and customizable goals.
Smartwatch Features and Software
The Moto Watch includes dual-frequency GPS( it is used for accurate outdoor tracking). Other than that there's a typical built-in speaker and microphone for calls, and you can receive notifications via Moto AI. On supported phones, there's a "Catch me up" feature that summarizes notifications.
But the Moto Watch also runs Motorola's proprietary software, not Wear OS. That means no third-party apps, no Google Assistant, and limited customization compared to Wear OS watches.
