Design and Display
The Moto X50 Ultra has a sleek design with dimensions of 8.6 mm thickness and a weight of 197 grams. It features a glass front with Gorilla Glass Victus protection and either a wooden or silicone polymer (eco-leather) back. The frame is made of aluminum. The phone supports dual SIM (Nano-SIM, dual stand-by) and is IP68 dust/water resistant, withstanding immersion in up to 1.5m of water for 30 minutes.
The Moto X50 Ultra boasts a 6.7-inch P-OLED display with a 20:9 aspect ratio and a resolution of 1220 x 2712 pixels (~444 ppi density). The display supports 1B colors, a 144Hz refresh rate, HDR10+, and a peak brightness of 2500 nits. Corning Gorilla Glass Victus protect it and has a screen-to-body ratio of approximately 92.9%.
Performance and Storage
The Moto X50 Ultra runs on Android 14 out of the box. It is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8s Gen 3 chipset, built on a 4nm process. The chipset features an octa-core CPU with one Cortex-X4 core clocked at 3.0 GHz, four Cortex-A720 cores at 2.8 GHz, and three Cortex-A520 cores at 2.0 GHz. The Adreno 735 GPU handles graphics.
The Moto X50 Ultra is available in three configurations: 256GB 12GB RAM, 512GB 12GB RAM, and 1TB 16GB RAM. The internal storage uses UFS 4.0 technology, but the device does not have a card slot for expandable storage.
Camera Setup
On the rear, the Moto X50 Ultra features a triple camera setup. The primary camera has a 50MP sensor with an f/1.6 aperture and a 1/1.3″ sensor size with OIS support. The secondary camera is a 64MP periscope telephoto lens with an f/2.4 aperture, OIS support, and 3x optical zoom. The third camera is a 50MP ultrawide lens with an f/2.0 aperture.
