CG is bringing Motorola back to Nepal!

We are all familiar with the American smartphone manufacturer Motorola, and most might also remember the ups and downs it has faced in the Nepalese market. Well, the brand is charging right in again, with Chaudhary Group (CG) at the helm. In this short article, let’s quickly take a peek at what you can expect with Motorola’s re-entry into Nepal.

Motorola in Nepal: A quick history lesson 

The brand entered Nepal back in 2017 with budget phones from its C and E series but ultimately lost the battle of value against Chinese competitors like Xiaomi, Vivo, and Oppo. 

On a decline, they switched gears and entered with Call Mobility as their distributor again in 2022 but to no avail. Since then, we haven’t seen the brand make any moves or launch new phones in Nepal. 

Enter CG….

It’s official! Motorola is re-entering Nepal with CG Mobiles as its authorized partner. The brand will be launching a number of smartphones from their budget G series to the Edge series, and even their flagship Razr smartphones. Here’s a quick list of phones that we expect to see in the near future: 

Pricing and Availability of Motorola Phones in Nepal

According to official sources, the Moto CG collaboration will be operational from India. This means a few things but most importantly, it means that you can expect competitive pricing that is close to Indian retail.
