Nikon has launched its retro-style Z fc with modern features and components. The camera is styled like its classic FM and FE film SLRs from the ‘80s, with dedicated controls for shutter speed, exposure compensation, and ISO. So, let’s get into the specs, features, availability, and expected price of Nikon Z fc in Nepal.

Nikon Z fc Overview:

Body

The Z fc takes its design inspiration from the classic Nikon FM2 film camera, but the internals is as good as the mid-range Z50. The body is largely made out of plastic but has a textured leather material on the front and aluminum dials on the top. The camera has three dedicated sliding switches to manually adjust settings while capturing images and videos.

Over on the back, it has a fully articulating 3.0-inch touchscreen display. It is a TFT panel with 1040k dot resolution. Unlike the Z50, it flips out to the side. Likewise, you get a 1cm 2360k-dot (XGA) OLED electronic viewfinder with 7-level manual brightness control.

Features

The Z fc shares many components with the existing Z50 model, including the 20.9 megapixels DX-format cropped CMOS sensor and Expeed 6 processor. The sensor can shoot at up to 11 fps with full autofocus. Similarly, you can do 4K video recording at up to 30fps with face and eye detection autofocus.

Moreover, the camera also has Z-mount, which means you can mount all the new full-frame Z mount lenses. There’s a support for the SnapBridge app that helps transfer media from the camera to Android or iOS devices.

Rest of the specs

Asides from that, the Z fc supports USB power delivery and USB charging. There’s a micro HDMI for external recording, a stereo microphone, and a mono speaker setup. However, there is no headphone jack. It weighs around 390 grams and is available in standard two color options — Black and Silver. There will also be six additional color choices available for purchase on the official website.
