The foldable festive series, I guess, is finally here. We have witnessed some major launches in the last couple of days, including the Galaxy Z TriFold. And following all that, Nubia has also officially launched the Flip3 in Japan. And doing so, it has expanded its foldable lineup alongside the nubia Fold, which is the brand's first book-style foldable. While the Fold goes for a larger, tablet-like experience, the Flip3 is more about portability, which comes in a slim clamshell design that fits easily in a pocket. Now, let's jump in this article, where I will discuss everything about the latest Nubia Flip3, including its specifications, availability, and expected pricing.

      Nubia Flip3 Overview

      Design and Display

      undefined

The Flip3 sticks to a classic clamshell foldable form factor. When opened, it's just 7.5mm thick and weighs only 187g. You can pick between Black or White, and it carries an IP54 rating for dust and splash resistance. The side-mounted fingerprint scanner is there, and the Flip3 is slimmer and, in my opinion, way easier to handle compared to what you find in the bulkier Nubia Fold.

The Flip3 comes with a 6.9-inch flexible main display that runs at Full-HD+ resolution and a 120Hz refresh rate.  On the outside, there's a 4-inch AMOLED cover display.

      Performance

Under the hood, the Flip3 runs on the MediaTek Dimensity 7400X, paired with 6GB of RAM and 256GB of internal storage. But since the Nubia Flip series has always been a mid-range foldable, it goes without saying that, the chipsets aren't going to be exceptional, or at least not for gaming and other kinds of heavy overloads. The upgrade is also quite minimal from its predecessor, but it's not that bad either.

      Camera System

      undefined

The Flip3 sacrifices a bit of camera versatility compared to the Fold for a more compact body. But it features a dual rear camera setup, which is a 50MP main sensor and a 12MP ultrawide lens. For selfies, there's a 32MP front camera.

      Battery and Charging

The Flip3 packs a 4,610mAh battery. But Nubia hasn't revealed charging speeds yet. The battery isn't that exceptional considering how the standards of batteries have skyrocketted in the last couple of years. Anyway, you get Bluetooth 6.0, NFC, and other standard connectivity options. It runs Android 15 out of the box.
