Oppo Reno13 Pro launched in China with the new Dimensity 8350

OPPO has recently launched the Reno13 series, including the Reno13 Pro and its smaller sibling, the vanilla Reno13. In this article, we will focus on the Reno13 Pro, covering its key specifications, features, and price in Nepal.

Oppo Reno13 Pro Overview

Display and Design

The OPPO Reno13 Pro has a different design compared to the Reno12 Pro. The Reno13 Pro features a more refined look with circular camera lenses and a smoother gradient finish. The edges are now flat, unlike the rounded ones on the Reno12 Pro. The new color options also give the Reno13 Pro a fresher look compared to the previous model. Meanwhile, the phone measures 162.73 x 76.55 x 7.55mm and weighs 197 grams. 

The Reno13 Pro features a 6.83-inch curved OLED display with a resolution of 2800 x 1272 pixels. It supports a 120Hz refresh rate and 240Hz touch sampling rate, ensuring smooth visuals and responsiveness. The display also offers a peak brightness of 1200 nits and uses 3840Hz PWM dimming for reduced eye strain.

Performance and Software

MediaTek’s Dimensity 8350 chipset is powering the device, built on a 4nm process. It is a new chipset, although there is not much difference as compared to the Dimensity 8300. Meanwhile it is paired with Mali-G615 MC6 GPU for handling graphics. The phone offers up to 16GB of LPDDR5X RAM and up to 1TB of UFS 3.1 storage. It runs on Android 14 with OPPO’s ColorOS 14.

Camera Setup

The Reno13 Pro boasts a triple rear camera system. It includes a 50MP primary sensor (Sony IMX890) with OIS, an 8MP ultra-wide lens (Sony IMX355), and a 50MP periscope camera (Samsung JN5) offering 3.5X zoom. The device supports 4K video recording at 60 fps. For selfies, there’s a 50MP front camera with similar video recording capabilities.

Battery and  extras

The phone is equipped with a 5800mAh battery. It supports 80W SuperVOOC wired charging and 50W AIRVOOC wireless charging. The Reno13 Pro also includes an in-display fingerprint sensor and an infrared sensor. It has stereo speakers and supports USB Type-C audio. The device is also dust and water-resistant, meeting IP66, IP68, and IP69 standards.

In China, the OPPO Reno13 Pro is available in four different configurations, starting at CNY 3399 for the 12GB+256GB trim. When it arrives here, we expect the OPPO Reno13 Pro price in Nepal to start at at least NPR 77,999.
