Design and Display

Although not as significant, Asus has also made changes to the chassis of the new TUF Gaming A15. The 2024 model is smaller than its predecessor.

In addition, it has a single-zone Mini LED illuminated RGB keyboard and a four-way indicator above it. Opening the metal lid, you are greeted with a 15.6-inch IPS screen with FHD resolution. Here, you get a fast 144Hz refresh rate, G-Sync, MUX Switch + NVIDIA Advanced Optimus.

On the graphics front, this one packs the RTX 4060 with 8GB GDDR6 VRAM and a maximum TGP of 140W, considering the 25W Dynamic Boost.

Like last year, all the models come with a MUX switch, allowing users to bypass the integrated GPU for higher graphics performance in gaming. New to this year is the Advanced Optimus, which automates the whole process.

As for memory, the laptops ships with 16GB of DDR5-4800 RAM. The SO-DIMM slots are user-accessible, and you can expand it up to 32GB. Likewise, you get 1TB PCIe 4.0 SSD storage.
