Design and Display

Asus Zenbook S 13 OLED (2023) sports a unique compact form factor. It is just 1 kilo in weight and measures 1 cm in thickness. The plasma ceramic aluminum lid is manufactured without organic chemicals or heavy metals and boasts improved hardness, better thermal dissipation, and higher corrosion resistance.

As the name suggests, Zenbook S 13 features a 13.3″ OLED display. It is a 2.8K panel with a 16:10 aspect ratio that covers 100% of the DCI-P3 color gamut. Moreover, the screen can hit a peak brightness of 550 nits and has minimal bezels all around. This Lumina OLED display has Pantone Validated Color Rendering, VESA DisplayHDR TrueBlack Certification, and Delta E <1.

Performance and Memory

Under the hood, Asus Zenbook S 13 OLED (2023) has a 13th Gen Intel Core i7-1355U processor. This is a 10-core (2 Performance + 8 Efficiency) 12-thread chipset with a maximum boost frequency of 4.6 GHz. On the GPU front, you get Intel’s Iris Xe Graphics.

As for RAM and memory, Zenbook S 13 comes with up to 32GB of LPDD5 RAM (this variant has 16GB) and up to 1 TB of M.2 SSD. The RAM is soldered so you cannot upgrade it further down the road.

Battery and Connectivity

In the tank of the Zenbook S 13 OLED (2023) is a 4-cell 63 Wh Lithium Ion battery that can last up to 14 hours of local video playback. You can charge it via the 65W adapter in the box which can charge the S13 from 0 to 70% in just 49 minutes.

Zenbook S 13 OLED (2023) comes with WiFi 6E and Bluetooth 5.3 technology. The port selection is quite generous for a 13-inch laptop with 2 Thunderbolt 4 ports, a USB 3.2 Gen 2 Type-A port, a full-sized HDMI 2.1 port, and a headphone jack.
