Design, Display

OnePlus Nord 3 brings improvements to last year's Nord 2. It comes with a larger 6.74-inch AMOLED screen with Full HD+ resolution. The screen supports a higher 120Hz refresh rate and is HDR 10+ certified which allows HDR content consumption on platforms like YouTube. The OnePlus Nord 3 doesn't have a camera island and sports a hole-punch cutout for the selfie camera up front. It is available in two colorways, Misty Green and Tempest Grey.

Performance

The Nord 3 replaces the Nord 2's Dimensity 1200 with the more capable MediaTek Dimensity 9000 chipset. It's a MediaTek 4nm mobile silicon with a single prime Cortex X2 Core, three Cortex-A710 cores, and four Cortex-A510 cores. Similarly, the Mali G710 GPU handles graphics. For improved gaming performance, the new chipset supports HyperEngine 5.0. The device runs Oxygen OS 13.1, which is based on Android 13. OnePlus has also promised up to three years of software support and an additional year of security updates.

Camera, Others

For photos and videos, the company has provided a triple camera setup on the OnePlus Nord 3 led by a 50MP Sony primary sensor and complemented by an 8MP ultrawide and a 2MP monochrome sensor. For selfies and video calls, there's a 16MP sensor on the front. A 5000mAh battery powers the phone. While the Nord 2 supported a charging speed of up to 65W, the Nord 3 supports 80W of fast charging. For added security, there is an in-display fingerprint sensor. Connectivity-wise, the phone supports 5G, Bluetooth 5.2, GPS, and NFC. OnePlus has also included an X-axis linear motor and dual stereo speakers.
