The Redmi 9 Activ has a 6.53-inch IPS LCD display on the front with a water-drop notch. It has an HD+ resolution screen with an aspect ratio of 20:9 and a contrast ratio of 1500:1. As this is a budget-oriented device, you don’t a high refresh rate here.

Despite this, the company claims that the phone has a TUV-certified reading mode that reduces harmful blue light under lowlight. Similarly, the screen has a typical brightness of 400 nits.

The Redmi 9 Activ also has an anti-slip design with a textured grip, which helps to prevent fingerprints. Xiaomi provides three color options to choose from, namely Carbon Black, Coral Green, and Metallic Purple.

Performance

The Redmi 9 Activ is powered by an octa-core MediaTek Helio G35 processor built on a 12nm node. It has eight ARM Cortex-A53 cores that can run at speeds of up to 2.3 GHz. The PowerVR GE8320 GPU, on the other hand, handles graphics. The phone has 4GB or 6GB of RAM, as well as 64GB or 128GB of internal storage that can be expanded with a microSD card.
