Xiaomi's Redmi Buds 4 follows a similar design pattern to its Buds Essential and most AirDots lineups. The same canal-style design with an in-ear fit! Nonetheless, they get an IP54 protection rating plus the vertical charging case. This TWS comes in only two light (and only light) colors: light blue and white.

Audio

The Buds 4 is equipped with a 10-mm driver with an ultra-thin 6 μm (micrometer). Tuned by Xiaomi Acoustic Lab, these buds produce a more professional frequency curve, deeper bass, and brighter vocals. Additionally, the calls use AI noise reduction here, using the two-mic setup (one feed-forward and one talk). And there is a dedicated low-latency mode for gamers.

Noise Canceling

Thanks to its hybrid active noise cancellation (ANC) system, rated at 35 dB, the Buds 4 effectively block out unwanted external sounds, allowing you to indulge in your music without any distractions. This is due to the dual-mic setup mentioned above, which adds to this ANC capability by intelligently reducing background noise for a more immersive listening experience. Nevertheless, the 4th version of Redmi Buds caters to you with all those features for 6 straight hours. Paired with the included charging case, these earbuds offer an impressive battery life of up to 30 hours, ensuring you can enjoy your music, podcasts, or calls throughout the day without worrying about running out of power.

Connectivity

The Redmi Buds 4 implements Bluetooth 5.2 for connections. Further, the instant connection feature of the Redmi Buds 4 simplifies the pairing process. These buds can simply detect whether they are inside ears or not and function accordingly.
