Redmi Note 15 Pro Plus 5G Overview
Display and Design
The Redmi Note 15 Pro Plus features a refreshed, uniform design across the Note 15 series, highlighted by a square camera module. It features IP68/IP69K water- and dust-resistance, making it highly durable. On the front, there’s a 6.83-inch quad-curved AMOLED display with 1.5K resolution (2712 × 1280) and a 120Hz refresh rate. The curved panel adds a premium touch, while Gorilla Glass Victus 2 protects the screen.
Camera
The global Redmi Note 15 Pro Plus packs a 200MP main camera with OIS, replacing the 50MP Light Hunter 800 sensor from the Chinese variant. However, the telephoto camera is missing on the global model, which is disappointing. The setup is completed by an 8MP ultrawide and a 2MP auxiliary lens. On the front, you get an upgraded 32MP selfie camera.
Performance
The phone is powered by the Snapdragon 7s Gen 4 chipset, a minor upgrade over the Snapdragon 7s Gen 3. It delivers reliable day-to-day performance but isn’t a major generational leap. The device comes with 8GB or 12GB RAM and 256GB storage and runs HyperOS 2 based on Android 15 out of the box.
Battery and Extras
The Redmi Note 15 Pro Plus houses a 6,500mAh battery, slightly smaller than the Chinese version, but now supports faster 100W charging. Additional features include dual speakers, an X-axis linear motor for better haptics, and a solid overall midrange-like experience.
