Redmi Note 15 Pro Plus with Snapdragon 7s Gen 4 is arriving soon in Nepal

But it's honestly not much of an upgrade over last year's Redmi Note 14 Pro Plus 5G.

Xiaomi launched the Redmi Note 15 Pro Plus in Poland, packing a Snapdragon 7s Gen 4 chip and some changes from the Chinese unit. And it's launching soon in Nepal as well. This article will discuss everything about the latest Redmi Note 15 Pro Plus, including its expected price in Nepal, specifications, and availability.

Redmi Note 15 Pro Plus Overview

      Display and Design

To begin with, you get a 6.83-inch quad-curved AMOLED display with 1.5K resolution (2712 × 1280 pixels) and 120Hz refresh rate. It's a step up from the flat screen, giving you those premium curved edges. Redmi has also bestowed a flagship-level Gorilla Glass Victus 2 protection for this guy.

Talking of the design, the Note 15 series shares a uniform look with rounded corners and a square-ish camera module. The phone also gets full IP68/69K waterproofing, so it should handle pretty much anything you throw at it.

      Performance

At its core is the Snapdragon 7s Gen 4 SoC, which is a slightly upgraded version of the Snapdragon 7s Gen 3. But the 7s Gen 4 has sparked some disappointment, as some expected a more significant upgrade over the Redmi Note 14 Pro Plus's Snapdragon 7s Gen 3.

That's because one of the prime CPU cores on the 7s Gen 4 can clock 200 MHz higher than the 7s Gen 3, and that's it. There are literally no other performance upgrades to look forward to this time. It's paired with 8/12GB of RAM and 256GB of internal storage. Other than that, this smartphone boots on HyperOS 2 built on top of Android 15. This is another point of disappointment, considering HyperOS 3 (Android 16) is already out.

      Camera changes

You're getting a 200MP main camera with OIS instead of the 50MP Light Hunter 800 sensor of the Chinese unit. Plus, the global variant gets no telephoto unit either, while the Chinese version has a 50MP telephoto with 2.5x zoom, which is honestly very disappointing. Meanwhile, what you get is an 8MP ultrawide shooter. The front camera bumps up to 32MP, up from a 20MP unit on the Redmi Note 14 Pro Plus.

      Battery

As for battery, the Note 15 Pro Plus brings a sizable 6,500 mAh unit—compared to a 5,110 mAh battery on its predecessor. It fuels up slightly slower at 100W instead of 120W, but we're not complaining. You also get a 1115mm² dual speaker setup and an X-axis linear motor for better haptic feedback.
