Remax TWS-23

Remax is a sub-brand of Hong Kong Refine Industrial (Asia) Limited and offers a wide range of products in Nepal. Its catalogue also includes wireless earbuds among which Remax TWS-23 is one of their offerings. Here we will briefly go through these earbuds.

Remax TWS-23 Overview

Design

These earbuds come in a semi-in-ear fit with an elongated stem. They mimic the looks of the second-gen AirPods but with added colour options. It ships in four shades — Black, Blue, Green, and White. However, Remax TWS-23 are currently available in the former two options only in the Nepali market. While the Remax TWS-23 earbuds look quite similar to the Apple offering, the charging case has its own identity. It is much more ovular and looks like a pebble. The whole package has a smooth glossy finish to it and weighs close to 45 grams. The Hong Kong brand does not mention any IP rating on these earbuds. Thus, it will be wise to avoid exposing it to the outside weather like rain.

Audio and the rest

The Remax TWS-23 relies on 13mm driver units on both its buds to deliver the audio. They offer a power output of 3mW with an impedance of 32. In the meantime, they come equipped with Bluetooth v5.0 for wireless connectivity with your smartphone. Other than that, no features such as ANC or ENC even have been highlighted. Therefore, these earbuds do not really have anything interesting going on for them. The company does not mention the cell capacity in these earbuds. Nevertheless, the charging case packs a 300mAh battery. Additionally, Remax also mentions a playback time of three and a half hours on the TWS-23. They also have a standby and charging time of 45 hours and an hour respectively.
