Design and Display

Starting with the design, Samsung has recently started to adopt a uniform design language for all the Galaxy series. Given that, the Samsung Galaxy A25 has the typical Galaxy design. It does however feature a chequered pattern on the back. Additionally, Samsung has introduced a “Key Island” which is a slight elevation on the phone’s frame where all the buttons are located.

On the front, a 6.5-inch Super AMOLED panel greets you as the phone’s display. It is an FHD+ screen with a 1,080 x 2,340 pixels resolution. Additionally, it comes with a maximum refresh rate of 120Hz. It is available in four colour options: Blue Black, Blue, Light Blue, and Yellow.

Performance

Under the hood, the Galaxy A25 5G comes with the company’s in-house Exynos 1280 chip. Based on a 5nm process, it packs two Cortex-A78 cores @2.4GHz and six Cortex-A55 cores @2.0GHz. It is available with 8 gigs of memory coupled with either 128GB or 256GB storage. You get the option to expand your storage to 1TB with a MicroSD card.

On the software front, Samsung Galaxy A25 comes with the latest One UI 6.0 based on Android 14. Moreover, you get four years of OS and five years of security updates.

Cameras and Others

In terms of cameras, you get three of them at the back compromising a 50MP primary camera with OIS support. It is assisted by an 8MP f/2.2 ultra-wide lens and a 2MP f/2.4 depth sensor. You get a 13MP snapper with f/2.2 aperture on the front for the selfies.

Powering the Samsung Galaxy A25 is a 5,000mAh battery that supports 25W wired charging. Moreover, the biometric option includes a side-mounted fingerprint scanner. Whereas, for audio, it comes with a stereo speaker as well as a 3.5mm headphone jack.
