Samsung Galaxy S23 FE Overview
Samsung Galaxy S23 FE is a 2023 FE offering from the company after skipping the Samsung Galaxy S22 FE. It makes the necessary compromises and gives the flagship experience to its users at a much more affordable price.
Design and Display
The Samsung Galaxy S23 comes with a premium design and materials, namely aluminium for the frame and Gorilla Glass 5 on the front and the back. It measures 158.00 x 76.50 x 8.20 mm in dimension while weighing in at 209 grams. It comes in loads of colour options such as Mint, Cream, Graphite, Purple, Indigo, and Tangerine.
On the front, we have a 6.4-inch Dynamic AMOLED 2x display that has a resolution of 1080 x 2340 pixels. Similarly, it is capable of a 120Hz refresh rate while boasting a colour depth of 16 million.
Performance
Under the hood, the Galaxy S23 FE comes with the in-house Exynos 2200 chipset. The US gets the Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 SoC, however, the rest of the world has to make do with the 4nm octa-core chipset with a maximum clock speed of 2.8 GHz.
Furthermore, it comes in a sole 8 GB memory variant. On the other hand, it comes with two memory options viz. 128 GB or 256 GB. And lastly, it ships with Android 13 with OneUI 5.1 on top.
Camera and the rest
The Samsung Galaxy S23 FE boasts a triple camera setup on the back, led by a 50MP primary sensor. It is coupled with a 12MP ultrawide and 8MP telephone lens. Meanwhile, up on the front, we are getting a 10MP shooter for the selfies.
Powering the system is a 4,500 mAh battery that can be juiced up by 25W of fast charging. Similarly, it supports tri-band WiFi and Bluetooth v5.3 for wireless connectivity. It also comes with 5G cellular network and NFC support.
