Samsung Galaxy S24+ Overview
Samsung Galaxy S24+ is the company's mid-level flagship for the year 2024. This phone is the successor to the Samsung Galaxy S23+ and a larger version of the Samsung Galaxy S24 with some add-ons.
Design and Display
The Samsung Galaxy S24+ comes with a premium set of materials with an armoured aluminium body and Corning Gorilla Glass Victus 2 on the back. It measures 158.50 x 75.90 x 7.70 mm in dimension while weighing in at 196 grams. It boasts an IP68 rating and comes in loads of colour options such as Cobalt Violet, Amber Yellow, Onyx Black, Marble Grey, Jade Green, Sapphire Blue, and Sandstone Orange. On the front, we have a 6.7-inch Dynamic AMOLED 2x display that dons the Corning Gorilla Glass Victus 2 protection. In terms of resolution, this screen is a QHD+ unit that spans 1440 x 3120 pixels. Similarly, it is capable of a 120Hz refresh rate while boasting a colour depth of 16 million.
Performance
Under the hood, the Galaxy S24+ comes with the in-house Exynos 2400 chipset for the global audience. Meanwhile, the US, South Korea, and China will get to enjoy the custom “For Galaxy” version of the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 3. Furthermore, it comes in a sole 12GB memory variant. On the other hand, it comes with two memory options viz. 256GB or 512GB. In terms of software, it ships with Android 14 with OneUI 6.1 on top. This time around, the Samsung Galaxy S24+ comes with Galaxy AI and as such offers tons of AI features.
Camera and the rest
The Samsung Galaxy S24+ boasts a triple camera setup on the back, led by a 50MP primary sensor. It is coupled with a 12MP ultrawide and 10MP telephone lens. Meanwhile, up on the front, we are getting a 12MP shooter for the selfies. Powering the system is a 4,900 mAh battery that can be juiced up by 45W of fast charging. Similarly, it supports tri-band WiFi and Bluetooth v5.3 for wireless connectivity. It also comes with a 5G cellular network, NFC, and UWB support.
