Design and Build

Like its predecessor, Samsung Galaxy Tab S9 Plus offers a unibody metal design. The Aluminium back and frame are complemented by Corning Gorilla Glass upfront. For the screen, it sports a 12.4 inch AMOLED 2X display that can go up to 120 Hz. The WQXGA+ (2560x1600) panel has an aspect ratio of 16:10. Samsung Tab S9+ offers IP68 dust and water resistance. It is just 5.7mm thick and weighs about 580 grams. It is available in 2 color options: Graphite and Beige.

Performance 

Under the hood, Samsung Galaxy Tab S9 Plus is powered by Qualcomm's Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 for Galaxy chipset. This octa-core processor offers a prime Cortex-X3 core clocked at 3.36 GHz, 2 Cortex A715 Cores and 2 Cortex A710 Cores at 2.8 GHz, and 3 Cortex A510 efficiency cores at 2 GHz. This is paired with an integrated Adreno 740 GPU. As for the memory, Tab S9+ can be configured with up to 12 GB of RAM and up to 512 GB of UFS storage. Since the micro SD card is present, you can add up to 1 TB of secondary storage later down the road.

Cameras and Extras

Samsung Galaxy Tab S9+ features a single 12MP ultrawide camera up front and a dual camera setup on the back. The 13MP primary shooter is paired with an 8MP ultrawide sensor. It comes with Android 13 out of the box with Samsung's One UI 5.1 on top. The company has promised 4 years of Android updates and 5 years of security patches. In the tank, Samsung Galaxy Tab S9+ has a massive 10,090mAh Lithium Ion battery. The tablet supports up to 45W of fast charging. As for wireless connections, Tab S9+ comes with WiFi 6E and Bluetooth 5.3. For security, you can opt-in for the in-display fingerprint or face recognition. Tab S9+ has a stereo audio setup with quad speakers tuned by AKG.
