Vivo X200 is the company's latest flagship phone, and it sits below the slightly more expensive X200 Pro. And while this thing has the same Dimensity 9400 processor, a similarly giant 5800 mAh battery, the same design and all, Vivo has cut corners on a few aspects to hit that cheaper price tag. Including things like a 50MP 3x telephoto lens instead of the X200 Pro's 200MP 3.7x telephoto camera and a slightly inferior display to name a few.

      Vivo X200 Overview

      Design and Display

Here, the Vivo X200 is the more affordable alternative to the flagship Vivo X200 Pro. Although as far as the design and build quality are concerned, these two are a lot similar. The Vivo X200 also has the same glass sandwich design on top of IP68 and IP69 durability ratings.

But when it comes to the display, this guy comes with a few compromises of its own. For example, the Vivo X200's 6.67" AMOLED panel has Schott Xensation glass instead of a stronger Armor Glass, there's no Dolby Vision HDR, and it doesn't have LTPO either.

      Performance and Storage

As for performance, the Vivo X200 is powered by the same Dimensity 9400 chip as its "Pro" sister. Whereas you can either choose between 12/256GB and 16/512GB memory configurations. It boots on Funtouch OS 15 (Android 15) on global models, while the Chinese variant tastes OriginOS 15 instead. Vivo has also promised 4 years of OS and 5 years of security updates for the X200 series.

      Camera and Battery

Getting to the cameras, this is definitely where you'll find the biggest downgrade on Vivo X200 compared to the X200 Pro. It has the same 50MP ultrawide camera, the same 32MP selfie camera, and a similar 50MP main camera, but a 50MP zoom lens instead of a 200MP one.

That thing is capable of 3x optical zoom although — unlike the X200 Pro — this one doesn't have "Zeiss APO" certification for chromatic and spherical aberration correction. The X200 also misses out on a couple of video-centric features like Log 2.0 recording and a 4K 120 fps option. In terms of battery, the Vivo X200 has a big 5800 mAh silicon-carbon battery here, which supports 90W wired charging like the X200 Pro. But unfortunately, it misses out on wireless charging.
