Xiaomi is one of the most popular smartphone manufacturers in the world that garnered the attention of the world with “flagship killer” phones. Like similar companies before it, it gradually shifted to the flagship space itself with a series of phones named after itself. The Xiaomi 14 is the company's flagship offering for the year 2024.

Design and Display
The Xiaomi 14 comes in a mostly flat design with slight curves at the edges. It has a large squircle camera island on the back that houses three shooters and an LED flash. Meanwhile, on the front, the phone brands minimal and symmetrical bezels adding to the beauty of the display. Since we are already talking about the display, the panel on the Xiaomi 14 is AMOLED measuring 6.36 inches diagonally. It spans 2,670 x 1,200 pixels achieving 1.5K resolution with a pixel density of 460 PPI. Other than that, it offers a dynamic refresh rate of 1–120Hz, a touch sampling rate of 240Hz, and a peak brightness of 3,000 nits.
Performance and Camera
Qualcomm's flagship Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 processor serves as the engine of the phone. This chip comes with 4nm fabrication, eight cores, and a peak clock speed of 3.3 GHz. Additional performance hardware on the Xiaomi 14 includes 12GB LPDDR5x-8533 RAM and up to 512GB UFS 4.0 storage. You also get to enjoy the Xiaomi IceLoop system handling heat dissipation. On the software front, it runs on the homegrown HyperOS. This phone comes stacked in the camera department, thanks to its partnership with Leica. The primary sensor here is the Light Fusion 900 image sensor with a 50MP lens and OIS capability. The auxiliary shooters on the Xiaomi 14 include a 75mm Leica floating telephone lens coupled with a 50MP Leica Ultrawide camera. Meanwhile, on the front, you get a 32MP shooter with AI face unlock capability.
