Realme 14x launched with Dimensity 6300 and SonicWave water ejection feature

Realme has launched the 14x, expanding its lineup with a new budget smartphone, which is basically an international version of the china bound V60 Pro. In this article, we will discuss everything about the latest Realme 14x, including its expected price in Nepal.

Realme 14x Overview

Design and Display

Realme has introduced the 14x with a 6.67-inch LCD display. The panel offers HD+ resolution and a smooth 120 Hz refresh rate. The phone comes in three color options: Jewel Red, Crystal Black, and Golden Glow. The Realme 14x comes with IP68 and IP69 certifications, ensuring protection against water and dust. It also meets MIL-STD-810H standards for durability. Moreover, the SonicWave Water Ejection feature helps remove water from the speaker.

Performance

The device runs on the MediaTek Dimensity 6300 chipset. It is available in two configurations: 6 GB RAM with 128 GB storage and 8 GB RAM with 128 GB storage. Additionally, the phone operates on Android 14, paired with Realme UI 5.0. Realme promises two Android version updates and UI updates for the next 36 months.

Cameras

The 14x is equipped with a dual-camera setup on the back. This includes a 50 MP OmniVision main sensor and an auxiliary sensor with limited functionality. It also features an 8 MP punch-hole selfie camera. The phone offers dual nano SIM slots along with a dedicated microSD card slot for storage expansion.

Battery and Charging

The phone is powered by a large 6,000 mAh battery. It supports 45W SuperVOOC wired charging and 5W reverse wired charging. According to Realme, the battery retains 80% capacity even after 1,600 full charge cycles, translating to around four years of use. Despite its large battery, it maintains a slim profile, measuring under 8 mm in thickness.
