Realme has expanded its “C” series of budget phones with the all-new Realme C100 5G. It was quietly unveiled in Thailand earlier today, and the biggest highlights of this phone include a massive 7000mAh battery, MediaTek's Dimensity 6300 chip, and a 50MP rear camera. Let me tell you more.

Realme C100 5G Overview

Design and Display

And starting with design, the Realme C100 5G has an all-plastic build as you'd expect from a typical budget phone. It's available in “Sprouting Green” and “Blooming Purple” color options, the latter of which also has a nice, shimmery texture at the back. The Realme C100 5G is IP64-rated as well, so you don't have to worry about light exposure to water splashes or rain.

Realme also says the C100 5G has a “ArmorShell” structure for better impact resistance in case you accidentally drop this thing, so that is pretty reassuring to see on a budget phone.

As for the display, Realme C100 5G comes with a large 6.8-inch IPS LCD panel that offers up to a 144Hz refresh rate, making the scrolling experience much smoother. But while we were expecting FHD resolution for sharper images and text for this screen size, the Realme C100 5G brings an HD resolution only.

This display has 900 nits peak brightness, which is decent enough for both outdoor and indoor use. And on top of all this, it offers an 83% NTSC color gamut, an 180Hz touch sampling rate, and Panda glass protection.

Performance and Software

Under the hood, Realme C100 5G comes with MediaTek Dimensity 6300 SoC. We saw this chip in the Realme C85 5G too, so this lack of any performance bump is a little disappointing. That said, the Dimensity 6300 should be perfectly fine for social media scrolling, web browsing, and watching videos. Realme also claims that this phone will perform decently at low-to-medium FPS in games like PUBG and Free Fire. Furthermore, this phone comes with up to 6GB of LPDDR4x RAM with 128GB of slow eMMC 5.1 storage.

Realme C100 5G runs on Realme UI 7.0 based on Android 16. Like most Android skins in 2026, Realme UI 7.0 also has a frosted glass effect like on Apple's iOS 26. And while Realme doesn't mention it anywhere, we can expect one major Android upgrade and 2 – 3 years of security patches for the Realme C100 5G.

Camera and Battery

Moving to the camera, Realme C100 5G comes with a 50MP f/1.8 rear camera with autofocus. While you're looking at a 5MP selfie camera up front, sitting inside a teardrop notch. Both these cameras max out at 1080p 30 fps video recording.

And as I mentioned in the very beginning, the Realme C100 5G has a massive 7000mAh battery that Realme claims will last more than 2 days on a single charge. This phone supports 45W wired fast charging, while it can also fuel up other devices at up to 6.5W.
